Homeworld: Daaf’ar (Civilised World) Regiment Type: Reconnaissance Specialisation: Recon and Skirmishing

The Visivexi are Regiments of the Astra Militarum levied from the world of Daaf’ar. They are specialist formations which utilise equine mounted infantry in an auxillia role for a wider engagement. Their most common form is that of the Vesivexi Dragoons, which provide reconnaissance and skirmishing forces for other Imperials. 

All members of the Visivexi are sourced from the nomads of the Visiata Tribes and while technically recruitment can be from as young as 13 Years (Terran), recruits are often kept plantside before they have completed their rite of passage (Typically late 20s). In times of major pressure from the Administratum this practice has been bypassed.

Organisation

The Visivexi organise themselves around units of three. 

The smallest of these are the Tra. These are the closest bond of individuals and are similar to the Vylka Fenrika Blood Claws in that they do not reinforce after suffering any casualties. Formations of new Tras can be undertaken with the survivors of multiple units, but these cannot be instigated by commanding officers. 

The Trivas are the next level of organisation, and consist of three Tras, totalling up to 9 soldiers. They are comparable in size to the squads and sections of other regiments, and are often seen being deployed along similar lines. 

Trenti are comparable to Companies and are composed of three Trivas, with an additional Command Tra. These can be up to thirty soldiers. 

The Vexi Imperialis is the local name used inplace of Regiment. This is often shortened just to Vexi, and has been known to cause confusion with the formations they are attached to.
