Bronwyn was not happy. Not at all. She had recently gotten arrangements to cover for a sick Maryden in the Heraldâs Rest, pulling strings with Leliana to allow her to play in the humanâs stead. But fate would not have it, it seemed, for just when she needed it to most obey, the strings to her lute broke. This could be fixed, had it not been smashed under the behind of a large, drunken Qunari mercenary captain. He apologized profusely, but his words did not fix anything.
She was close to tears, looking at the ruined instrument in dismay. It had been a few songs in, she would likely say she was tired for the night⌠but she had promised Maryden, and Leliana. This was terrible. The chances of another bard being in the tavern at that exact time, with a lute build for dwarves and a kind enough heart to lend her said lute were slim to none!
Just as Bronwyn is about to turn and give up, she spots exactly what she needs, and quickly makes her way through the crowd to the otherâs side. âExcuse me, but do you mind if I borrow your lute? I can pay for it, and I promise to return it by the end of the night!â
There were a few things that were certain in life for Tamyra  the Isskari recently indoctrinated into the Qun. One such was that she could not remember life before the Qun, Qamek erased it from her mind. Another was that her purpose was to locate and detain artifacts of a magical nature, and that she was damn good at her purpose.Â
She ate, slept, drank, and breathed her purpose, there was nothing else for her beside it. To fail it was to fail the Qun- which would be betrayal in itself, that she would repay with her life.Â
She couldnât be sure how long sheâd be taught the Rights of the Qun, and how Wrong everything else was compared to it. A year? Two? Three? It didnât matter anymore. There was nothing but her purpose that mattered.Â
The Demands of the Qun that gave her purpose mattered more than how long it had taken for her to open her eyes to what she was before. And the Qun demanded she travel into Thedas, far from the warm Seheron, and with the Viddasala to whittle away at the strength of power in the uneducated lands.Â
If she recognized any of the faces she fought with, former friends in the Inquisition basra and saarebas, she did not show it. But it was sure they would remember her, for no one wielded a blade as she did, nor did any Qunari have the exact same scar along their leg that a young girl who served as Inquisitor did. If that did not remind them of that girl- the green glow, swapped in wire and runes to keep it restrained, that marked her left hand did.Â
Weeks into the sparse raids against the Inquisition, reports of the Anchor wielding Qunari finally find the desk of Cullen Rutherford, Commander of the Inquisitionâs forces, and Eon Adaarâs closest companion. He rued to give the news to him, sleeping so peacefully for once, whatever sleeping drought heâd taken to sooth his troubled mind working.
But he had to know, he might not forgive himself if he didnât at least try to wake him... With a shaking hand, Cullen gently shakes Eon to wakefulness, the reports held tightly in his other hand.Â
âEon...Eon...  Itâs Tamyra. They found her.âÂ
@howprettyareyou "Hey," A young dwarven woman approaches Sera with the cool and confidence of a woman who knows exactly what she wants. "I've been looking all over for you, where have you been?" She asks with a smile, accent sounding vaguely Nevarran.
Cresens had caught Cullen in between reports and work, asking him if he had time to teach her to play the game sheâd seen him playing with Dorian on occasion. She didn't think he would so willingly accept, not so quickly.Â
As she waited for him, she fought internally. What if she made a fool of herself? She was a magical prodigy back in Kinloch the Circle of Magi, but what if her lacking skills in chess made Cullen think of her as a child again? That was the last thing she wanted...but any time spent with Cullen not at the War Table or discussing the Inquisition she would be grateful for.Â
She dressed as casually as she dared- it wasnât a date, certainly not (though she wished)- but she did think ahead to add a little kohl to her eyes with Dorianâs help. It was modestly applied, but brought attention to her bright blue eyes. She absentmindedly twirled her dark hair as she fretted, so caught up in her mind that she didnât notice the Commander approach from somewhere behind her.Â

{If one wants to interact with Sylaise in the Inquisition, or during Origins or any time after the Fall, I'd imagine a sliver of her consciousness, of her power (maybe memories, but not likely) make their way into an elven host at birth.}
Claudia Cousland. A name on many lips in the halls of Ostwick Circle of Magi within the past week. It was well known that the aforementioned woman had a large role in ending the Fifth Blight alongside the civil war in Ferelden five years ago...but it was not Happily Ever After then.Â
It was also well known that her and King Alistair had yet to conceive a child, a heir to the Therin throne. Apprentices spread rumor that she traveled to Ostwick to get assistance with it, others that she was bringing her illegitimate child to be raised with them, and many other outlandish tales.Â
On the day of her arrival, she did indeed have a child with her. With black hair, and blue eyes she looked nothing like the King, but bore some semblance with the Queen herself. The Knight-Commander spoke previously with each of the mages, and some of the older apprentices, that they should speak only when spoken to by the Queen, and show respect at all times to her young companion.Â
With grace and poise, the Queen greeted the mages gathered before her with a smile. âGood evening, my good people.â she began, smiling. âI have a request of the mages here, which I have already cleared with the Templars here.â A pause, well practiced to draw in attention. With knowing smirk, she continued.Â
âI plan to personally interview each of you for a temporary position within my Court. I wish to educate the nobles in Denerim of magic and itâs uses, so that they do not gaze upon mages with fear or hatred, and one of you- alongside my young friend- will help with this. Does anyone wish to step forward and begin?â
