When i couldn't resist to watch the OP preview i saw the shot of Daisuke having MORE PAIRS OF DUMB SHADES AND I HAD THIS MIGHTY URGE TO SEE YOUR REACTION TO THAT PART LIKE
We joked about this in March (me) and April (your post on Daisuke Week) and i'm still SHOOK ABOUT THAT 🤣🤣🤣
(this movie and collabs just proved that most of my dumb headcanons were right all this whole time and i don't know how to deal with it... Been like this since July 2019 hhhhhhhh)
THAT WAS SO GREAT. Honestly there are a few screenshots I need to collect from this movie when it comes out on home release so I can linger over them and appreciate them, and Daisuke's shades drawer is definitely one of them (bet you can guess one of the others!) XD
so, some 02TB discussion shenanigans with friends based on the stuff we saw the moment the PV dropped was...
"Rui is Edgy Wallace" "..." "Yeah this tracks"
Then I asked "If Rui is edgy Wallace, then what is it Menoa?"
And the answer was: "Sexy Menoa"
And this only shows that we didn't get only one Wallace-like character but TWO. We're reinventing Wallace now.

Honestly he’s so much trouble he needs to be periodically reinvented, so he doesn’t become too powerful. Good thing I’ll never get tired of that general storyline! ☺️☺️☺️

Thinking I should just stay off Tumblr until I see this movie. A lot of people are doing proper spoiler tagging/warnings (which I appreciate so much!), but details about Things That Happen keep slipping through and ending up on my dash.
I guess I should state 1) I plan on seeing it tonight, 2) I’ll put any spoilers under a Tumblr read-more, and 3) I plan on using the tags “da02 beginning” (my all-purpose tag for this movie) and “da02tb spoilers” (which, on my dash, seems like a pretty-widely-agreed-upon tag for movie spoilers).
Also turning off asks for a few hours.
