Jolyne is understandably not the most trusting towards most men, and at first that applies to you too. She won’t really want to get too emotionally close to you, acting a bit more distant and quick to anger when you’re around, but after spending a bit of time around you and seeing how your kindness wasn’t just an act she’d finally start putting down her walls around you. There’s even times when she’ll openly seek you out to hang out, openly flirting with you the whole time.
You can always tell whenever Jolyne likes one of your jokes, because she just doesn’t hold back. Her laughter is very loud and contagious, there are many times when you’ll both be hunched over each other howling over just the simplest joke. While she loves most humor, if you really want to get her to tear up laughing she’s always weak to more dirty and crude jokes.
Jolyne is always down to jam out with you. She’s fairly open to new bands and genres of music, so she’ll love when you show her all of your favorite songs. No matter where you’re at or what time it is, she’ll always insist on blasting it top volume so she can really get onto it.
While she doesn’t always come across as it, she actually is quite caring towards her friends as well, and once you two are dating that’ll go double for you. If you’re ever having trouble or are dealing with some asshole she won’t hesitate to step in and beat them senseless. She can get very protective of you and won’t back down if she thinks someone’s being rude or disrespectful to you.
Jolyne isn’t really used to heavy amounts of affection, but once you start showing her some she’ll absolutely love it. Sometimes if she’s really happy or she hasn’t seen you in a while, even though she’s shorter than you she’ll just lift you into a big spinning hug.
If you ever play video games with her, just know that she takes it very seriously and will do anything to win. She’ll openly trash talk and try and distract you in order to cheat. There are times where you’re both playing a racing game and as soon as you start taking the lead she’ll just start shoving you and trying to block your view so you’ll eventually go off course.
While Jolyne wasn’t initially into comics, once you introduce her to them and get her to read a few she’ll be hooked. She enjoys reading the more action oriented fights and loves when the villain just gets the absolute crap beaten out of them. Her favorite heros are mainly badass girls, but she does have a soft spot for the cute, hunky guy hero. After she finishes another comic, she’ll always be sure to have a very animated discussion with you on what just happened and how cool it was.
