There are five kids, all I have is their nicknames and SOME semblance of a personality. Only one child is completely undefined. RIP to the fourth child
It got longer than I expected so it’s all below the read more.
Baby Waffles-First child, adopted. Adores her parents. They basically raised her when she was a baby in the child institution and then adopted her as a tot. Loves when dad makes her small pancakes to snack on. Also loves peaches.
When she was an only child, she would either go with her mom and stay at the children's corner of her bookstore or stay with dad at his then-job at a café. She becomes something of a staple, greeting patrons from behind the counter and drawing art of the frequent patrons. (Shout out to Mr. Haruda for the Baby Waffles group moniker/nickname)
She largely retains her cheerfulness and curiosity as she grows up.
Itty Bitty French Toastie-technically the first born. Loves bananas. Very well behaved. Laughs a lot, pretty happy. Very clingy to Goro when she can crawl. She is often allowed to sit in on his call conferences at home when he becomes a security consultant because she is fairly behaved--she just wants dad. Is the proud owner of a cute jumbo shrimp plushie that dwarfs her and is her best friend (website picture and product name did not match, so this was an accident)
Ayana calls both Toastie and Waffles daddy's little girls.
Medium Bagel Bite- first son, second born, third child. Is more of a mommy's boy when he was a baby, since he tended to fuss or cry if dad was holding him. For a time, Goro wondered if he was going to have to worry about an Oedipus Complex, or strained father-son relations.
As a teenager onwards, he is fairly polite and softspoken compared to his older sisters. Also a bit quiet, flusters much more easily. He is a little frightened by how loud they are in comparison but he loves them.
Ayana pointed out he looks quite like his father. Probably inherited his ability to make those scary faces.
??? I don't know who this child is. Also born to them.
??? Oldest child, adopted last, first foster child. He was pretty cold at first. When he warms up to them, he is actually quite a mature young man. He has an especially close relationship with Goro, so he looks up to him for career advice. May or may not have been told the full details of his high school years and mental processes. May or may not look up to him for overcoming that.

So just a tiny tiny excerpt I found in one of my writing notebooks
He didn’t deserve her unabashed affection, or her considerations. Her time, her company…all of it would be wasted on him who wasted himself on and in his plans.
She deserved someone else less…him.
Note: This basically summed up the whole story and the pivoting point that really diverged from the Canon.
As requested by @catalystreincarnate to be uploaded here.
As long as the reeds will whistle,
I'll exist
As long as the winds are fickle,
Only for you
And when everything we've built up,
Comes, crashing down 'fore my face.
And maybe then, I'll learn how to regret.
What about a love built so strong,
Held up on thin limbs.
We close our eyes to bask in the glory
Of when it was ours.
I wanted everything and nothing,
But I wanted every good thing for you.
Does that make me bad, bad?
If not, only in your eyes?
As long as this world will burn,
You have no place on this prye.
And when everything you have known
Comes, crashing down, before your face.
Perhaps it's too late to salvage yesterday.
The writing piece to go with @cowtape ‘s piece! I will post a link to hers as soon as I get it! This is for @kh-worldsconnected‘s big bang.
Summary: This takes place in the same area where you first make your choice of sword, shield or wand in the first game. Inspired by KH3D’s opening with the Wayfinder Trio. Sora’s asleep, and his mind is still plagued with some doubts. Is he really ready for the future?
Word count: 1114. Short, but sweet and nothing hurts!
My Sanctuary, where is that?
When you close your eyes, what do you think of first?
Do you think of
them?
Or of home?
When you rest your weary eyes and feet that are still running, where do they run off to?
He opens his eyes to the dark surrounding and supporting him. But for all the battles he's had to wage against them, he's not afraid. In fact, he doesn't seem to truly let that sink in.
It's comforting, and ready to lull him to sleep as the force gently and slowly settles him further downwards. Below his feet stand a familiar sight, but it is neither the spot beside Kairi and Riku, nor the sands of Destiny Islands.
It's the large and wide glass tiles that first welcomed him before his journey.
He's largely forgotten that moment, but it's clear to him when it's brought back to mind.
The time is coming soon, so he figures that he's probably got to make another decision again. He just hopes he'll know what to choose.
But nothing shows up. Not the silent voices or the words that flowed into his mind. Not the pedestals.
Just him in a vast space.
No one speaks, but he is spoken to. He understands their questions and proddings. It's familiar, even though it has no voice. It does not take him long to get some understanding why he is there.
You have grown.
He shuffles his feet for a brief second. "Yeah, I guess I have."
Are you satisfied with your choices?
"Yeah," He nods slowly. "I am."
Even though they have caused you to lose your original goals, brought you far from your friends and your home?
Memories flashed in his mind. First of sparring with Riku, then of their plans to travel. Then of seeing Riku again as Ansem, in his black coat, and of saving Kairi's heart.
"Yeah," he says, nodding slowly before giving a final curt nod. He was sure of it.
And why is that so?
A different set of memories came to mind, not of his friends this time, but of the ones he's made along the way. There were problems much larger than his own, places much larger than the little island he called home. Regardless, he had made just as many good memories as much as he had bad ones, and learned so much from each of them. He had gotten his wish to see the worlds, but still, he thought of home from time to time. After all, in the end, there was nothing quite like coming home, wherever that was.
But now that he knew what went on in other worlds, what was going on in the grand scheme of things, how could he be selfish? For all the dreams, and for all the hearts, he pushed on. For the friends he’s made and the friends he’s had yet to meet, too.
I see, it says simply. Then, are you satisfied with your decisions thus so far?
That, he had to think of a little while longer. There were so many doubts in his mind. When he accidentally turned the gears of their plans, he became a key piece. He doubted sometimes if he could truly be the one, but his heart always guided him where he needed to be. He trusted in his friends to be true, to be there for him, no matter what. He trusted that his heart would lead him down the right path.
It seemed to take those thoughts as an answer.
What about being Keyblade Master?
He lost, and that frustrated him, he could admit it. “I…” he sighed. “I still have a long way to go.”
But you did not succumb to the darkness. Why does that make him the keyblade master?
“I…” he furrowed his eyebrows. “I don’t know...maybe my heart wasn’t...strong enough?”
Then are you worthy of the title? Will you try again?
That needed no hesitation. “Of course!”
And if you fail again?
“Of course I will! I’m not going let to that stop me!” Why was it so focused on the possibility of failing again? “And even if I do…” he shook his head. “There has to be another way. Has to be...” he trailed off.
The voice went silent and he wondered if it didn’t like his answer. He didn’t regret a word of it, and he hoped that it would take that to mean something good.
He had his answer in the form of a single ray of light tapping against the floor around him. He looked up into the mist, and there was the large, but faint outline of a keyhole that he may have fallen in from. And there was his next question.
He summoned the keyblade, swinging it in his hand until he got the feel, and pointed it towards the ceiling. He took a deep breath, concentrating on his emotions, his best memories, and on himself.
Focus, on your breathing, on letting it flow from you. Do not let the coming darkness scare you from your goals. You know what you’re here for. What you want. What you need to do.
All around him, a sudden wind started whipping up what seemed to be pages of a storybook around him. They were followed around by small blue orbs, whipping around in random order and direction. They all brushed so close to him, but they never quite cut.
It was almost deafening with the amount of paper and whizzing, and getting difficult to ignore. But he soon realized they weren’t just distractions.
You’ve got this.
Come back soon okay?
There were different voices, each one that he had encountered before, and then one that he hadn’t. But they were all saying virtually the same thing to him.
I have faith in you, Sora. You can do this.
“Yeah,” he mumbled to himself. “I can.”
The keyhole glowed bright, the light intensifying as it filled the arena, until he was forced to squeeze his eyes shut. The yellow found its way under his eyelids, and the sounds stopped all together.
There was a peaceful kind of silence again, but he wasn’t afraid. He felt nothing below him, but he didn’t fight it. The very same force that had brought him here, once again, lulling him.
Perhaps, he’ll think of it as a dream tomorrow. He may not remember the gentle shuffling of the comforter as it falls over his shoulders when he falls asleep completely. But no matter. He just needs to believe he is not alone.
And he is not. His friends will make sure he never has to be.
Honestly, the things not to say to art major/artists post annoys/worries me a bit
I read through it and I'm not the least bit bothered by most of the things said there [It's a pretty big compliment for me]...so I'm wondering if something's wrong with me or if I'm not at a certain stage where it should?

Attempting to limit myself to one post of Sigaya a day.
-Imagine the two [maybe Aeson makes three] eating with chopsticks. And Sigmund can't get a handle on using chopsticks.
"Do you need help with that?"
"NO..." and then very meekly. "Yes."
-Imagine he DOES know how to, but he's lying and saying he doesn't just so Aya's fiddling around with and holding his hand. And she catches him just smirking to himself, so she uses the end of the chopsticks to grab his nose/mouth[/my sister says she should grab his ear] and nibbles on it.
Not sure why, but Blitzkreig sounds like a cool name. I know it means lightning war, but I’m not sure if it’ll be controversial.
I imagine her attacks would be fast and emulate the Leo saint’s in terms of speed and presentation […well and electricity] but definitely not quite as deadly.
-Aya has a little power up move she can do before (any? or certain) fists. It’s either pressing her palms together or one palm and one fist and then pulling apart. Before they completely part for the fist, you can see lightning forming. Unfortunately, it’s fast and simultaneous so she doesn’t just stop and then fist.
-Her unblockable grab: Involves her latching onto the opponent with her legs, on their arms and then flipping them over…or maybe into the air and then slamming a leg down as a finisher? I’m still working on the physics of it.
-Moveset overall: Leg oriented, some spins probably, expect flips. She’s flexible and petite, so.
-Possible move with no name: Power up hands, lurch forward, right hand [I think of LoS Aiolia’s fist lock with Seiya.] And then idk if its one huge ball of energy or if its pillars. Or if it is a move that hits and then the full weight REALLY sinks in. Or if it follows someone for a little while once it touches them
I admit that I actually occasionally get jealous of canon characters/couples. Actually, it's a sad feeling that hits me in the heart. *sigh* It really can't be helped, and it usually doesn't last for long, or come very often.
---I mean, it won't stop me from developing full fledged stories, but I'm too scared to share them with others, who might enjoy them, maybe even ship it.
--And sometimes, I bash my own OCs. I tried hard not to make them Mary Sues when I was still very young. I sometimes used to get frustrated at Su. The other day, I called Jin a douche on a Skype call with my best friends because I was so pissed at not being able to find a FC for him.
I get frustrated at not being able to portray them the way I envisioned them. Sometimes I feel like I edit their personalities in RP. I get frustrated that I planned out all this stuff for them, but I don't know how to get others interested/place them on the path with them/initiate the plans with my OCs.
--Recently, I found out an OC I made for KH when i was 11, was on a OC tumblr and had a forum post, which is why I may never bring her out to the KH community. It hurt because it's been 7 years, and she's no longer the OC on dA they saw one time. I feel like I've been pushed back 7 years, and they'll remember that one instead of this one. I'm still trying to gain the courage to ask them to take it down, and it's been months.
-I dunno, maybe I'm just a bit bitter from rare time to time that I don't have as much luck. I might not be doing enough to get my muses out there.
