Boy, I love using databases. It’s like when the bridge crew asks Data for answers. I want info on robotic prosthesis? BAM, 3,000 articles. How about when the first space shuttle was invented? POOM answer.Â

Nik is the full body person, Zach is the chibi
Nik is related to like the majority of my DA ocs. It’s now become my life mission to make an entire family tree
When do you think you'll open the ask box again? No rush or anything, I know that you have a lot of requests to write, I was just curious >\\\<
Ahhhh! I know! There is so much and I would’ve loved to keep it open forever, but then I would be worried that I would never catch up with myself. The last thing I want is to feel overwhelmed with this blog when it’s supposed to be a place for me to relax and have some fun.
But to actually answer your question: I have no idea. Lol, that’s a shitty answer, I know, but it all comes down to the amount of school work I have and the way my weekly schedule ends up being on if I can get more than one of these babies cranked out at a time - which there will be days I do and days I don’t unfortunately.
ALTHOUGH, I am thinking about doing a little celebration for when my anniversary is with my boyfriend in October (technically November). But we’ll be at Escape: Psycho Circus all weekend and on top of writing an overly emotional and romantically gooey fic, maybe I’ll also open the ask box for that weekend as well, yeah?
Let me know what you guys think!

Synchro-Vox is coming back in a big way, mark my words. It's already being implemented in the King of the Hill reboot as far as you know.
Headed out to Zion in a few weeks. Now that it's the season, it's time to really kick my butt into gear.
Thinking of some other things that I'll be posting here. I like the idea of sharing some neature finds, maybe some silly science along with it. Cat pics, of course. Hiking sights and stories. And while I could be sharing my memes and dreams into the void, I think I'll keep my posts personal. For those that somehow are still here, well, I'm glad you are. Maybe the void can clap back.
Arzyl
It seems that every day there are new and exciting musical projects coming out of Mexico. Once such artist is Arzyl, who makes 80s-sounding electronic music influenced by global culture, while his support from the Da Future label has recently been catching the attention of people around the world. He shares his story and input about the future of music with us below.
Tell us about your artist name…
Arzyl is taken from the J.R.R. Tolkien books, it’s the name of a sword and an unusual word on internet.
What sort of music were you exposed to when you were growing up?
New wave, latin rock and pop music.
When did you start making your own music and what was it like?
When I was sixteen years old I began composing my own songs with a Microkorg synthesizer and an electric guitar.
What equipment do you use?
Currently I use a Eurorack synthesizer to create amazing and complex sounds, Ableton Push 2 to perform/produce, Native Instruments software, Arturia and Ableton Live as well.
Where would be the perfect place to listen to your music?
The perfect place is the road and my balcony I suppose haha.
What fuels your creativity?
Emotions of course, I create music and music is art. I love the winter for releasing some tracks because the weather, ambience and feelings are really cool for me.
What do you think the future of music is going to be like?
Sometimes I think we are heading towards a musical stalemate. However more and more people can produce and exhibit their work and among all those people and ideas really amazing projects, songs and sounds are born. So the road is uncertain but exciting. The future of music is digital and shared.
Does your local area influence the music you make?
Not really, Mexico is a multicultural country and with internet everyone can take their influences even from other countries and cultures. This is definitely true in my case.
Who’s your biggest local musical influence, past and/or present?
The DaFuture Label. With those guys I learned different styles of creating and exposing music. I really admire all the members of this label.
What are the top things you’d suggest visitors to your city should go and see/do?
Definitely try the food haha; Mexican gastronomy is wonderful. The parties of Mexico City are energetic and incredible and the city has plenty of worldwide cultural references to visit.
What’s the biggest challenge facing musicians in your country?
Maybe showing their projects, that’s a continuous problem; although Mexico is a big country most of the people are polarised.
What are the best music venues and record shops in your city?
I don’t buy physical music actually but I’ve heard that La Roma Records is a good place to acquire music.
Where in the world would you most like to perform?
Asia and Europe absolutely, North America too.
