Downtown Fort Lauderdale, Florida A vertical gesture for the study of decomposition. Fragments of an interview were dissected into matrixies. The interviewer, the reporter and the spaces in between were translated into graphical annotations. Dilapidated into components and distributed vertically along a datum, the residue became spaces for events to be investigated. A central main space was allocated for the studies of decay. Small pockets were introduced for observation of decomposition of a building’s materials. The circulation system is weaved into the small pockets and end in the main space; details of scaffold were consider as thresholds and structure in the circulation.
