i dont know if someones talked about this but Bear fits the perfect 'nice guy' trope. he's not kind to Nikki, he's nice to her. he doesn't say anything mean to her, but he doesn't care about her either. all of his actions were made with the sole intention of getting with her and that's it. he never truly cared about her and her feelings because if he DID he would have done everything he could have to break the wish when he first found out it did something to her. But the entire time he takes advantage of her and tries to get whatever he can out of her until the very end. if entity Nikki didn't end up doing all that crazy stuff, he would have been perfectly content with Nikki being trapped in something that wasn't her own choice probably for forever
