Nostalgia is something strange and strong. Pulls you into places you never knew you wanted to revisit. But here he is -- that same bar some kid been pinned to the walls of by arrows. Not here for the same purposes as he was that night, of course -- she definitely changed him then. Whoever he was, anyway. It didnât matter.
And perhaps that nostalgia thatâs pulled him in is too strange and strong today. The old manâs clearly gone loopy since heâs seeing her here. As much as he wants to excuse her appearance ( whatâs it they say? there are at least seven people in the world identical to you? ) as coincidence, he canât help but sit in the empty seat beside her at the bar.Â
âHope ya donât mind me grabbinâ this seat,â he greets, friendly as he always is. Itâs nice that itâs not a facade...is it because heâs changed? Or because she so resembles her and he canât bear to be crude? Â
