The cross courses in Bend this weekend were hard. For a lot of folks, it meant running large sections of it. However, if you physically can’t run, it meant delicately walking a lot of it... very very slowly. While walking is fine, it really does allow folks a very long amount of time to heckle you for going slow. On these such occasions (and there were quite a few) I simply stopped, put my bike down, and then loudly reminded the hecklers and on lookers that they still had till Tuesday at 8pm to turn in their election ballots.
