I bought #clusterdextrin or #cyclicdextrin for the first time back in January, after coming to the realization that my body could no longer handle #dextrosepowder during my training sessions. Dextrose is made using corn, something not deemed easily digestible for some. The sugar content didn't truly help either. So here are some quick facts about #highlybranchedcyclicdextrin! * Due to its low #osmolarity, it's far easier to digest and will remain in your gut for less time before being absorbed by the intestines. * Because #hbcd is #sugarfree and #glutenfree, you'll never experience any #insulinspikes. So with that in mind, this is a #carbohydrate I'd recommend taking during and after you finish training. If you train on an empty stomach like I started doing again, I'd highly recommend using this while on the gym for #glycogenreplenishment.
