I’m not at all surprised by this. The social media scores in general were always slightly…racist. Not necessarily intentionally, but the pretty girl next door girls like Jourdan and Kristin always did well, similarly with the guys that fell into that category, with none of the black girls really matching them. I mean in Cycle 19 you had Jessie with one of the highest during the comeback, when people like Yvonne and Darian deserved to be higher. Chantelle was probably the sole except, but she was always going to do well on social media giving how naturally stunning she is.

It was Jeremy’s time to go this week, and while he had a solid run, the fact he managed to outplace Nina is the most confusing moment of the series. This shot looks good, but Jeremy doesn’t really bring much to the photo. His body looks good, but the pose and face feels incredibly flat. His energy level needed to be brought up, as his looks are selling this shot, not his skills as a model.

This is one of the few shots of the cycle that was elevated by having the motion. The way the paint caressed her body looks incredible. It is the kind of shot that could be played on a billboard, and sell anything: fashion, perfumes or even just paint. There is just such grace and elegance in her pose, which is still fascinatingly beautiful. I may not have agreed with a lot of Jourdan’s first call-outs, but this is the one I would have given her without the slightest hesitation.

That make-up is so bad. I am sure I could have made it look better, and I’ve never done anybody’s makeup in my life. Mike is lucky his jawline looks so defined, as otherwise the face would be truly ruined by those spikes. I think the body is kind of a right off here. He is covered by the orangutan, and I’d be as likely to believe Mike was a zoo keeper, as he was a model if I was shown this shot.

I don’t know what happened to Chlea since she came to Bali, but she became a model. I wouldn’t even be able to guess this was her, she looks like a plus-size goddess. The fabric is hugging her bodies in all the right places, and this angle for her face is magnificent. Her jawline is stronger than it has ever been, and her face looks beautiful. It is dramatic, fashionable and really a piece of art. It is this type of shot that makes me so glad they did the social media scoring for this cycle, as otherwise Chlea would have been remembered as probably the worst plus-size model on ANTM.

Renee looks beautiful here. I love the way she is pushing her body, it has created a gorgeous silhouette. I mean the arch in the back is beautiful, and the dress looks incredible in her body. Her face is stunning too; her jawline is defined, and the expression feels romantic, if a tiny bit saddening. Everything just works together.
