Some commercial bicycles from past and present.
As summer comes to a close what are your cycling goals? CRC has some fun and challenging hurdles ahead. No need to be distracted by what must be done by what we want. Prepping for a ride through the tunnel of trees during the autumn foliage is one of mine. Love this graphic. This build was for the 2017 St Joseph Mini Maker Faire. We had a one month timeline to complete it. We owe a great deal of gratitude to the assistance of various local educators, craftsmen, and institutions. Tom Hurst of Looning Learning aided with in the construction of the hand built wooden crate and we were delighted to provide a 24" bike, some random bike parts & the slightest amount of consultation for the pedal powered lathe. Andrea Oleniczak from the FabLab out in the Hanson Technology Center on Lake Michigan College campus lent a great deal of support. Advising on the logo redesign & operating the laser etcher that branded the seat and finished wooden crate with the Cycle-Re-Cycle logo. Very proud to work with such creative and skilled professionals. Our presence at the Maker Faire did not go unnoticed.
