A small, not really, update.
With returning to work after my gloriously long medical leave I was optimistic that my writing oomph would maintain. I apparently overestimated the well and it’s taking longer to refill than I anticipated.
I’ve been lucky enough to be able to continue to work from home during this pandemic but it’s been incredibly busy and has gotten even more insane the last few weeks. I’ve been working overtime to help cover the loss of several teammates to projects and that’s slowed down the creative oomph even more.
Then the Last of Us 2 came out and that’s literally been my free time almost every day after work and all of my weekends.
But! I’ve got the start of the next chapter of Gears worked out, and generally how it’ll go, and, even more importantly, I think I figured out how to start chapter 3 of my PP2 redo this morning.
I’ve got the last 2 weeks of August off and am sincerely hoping I do more than just watch old shows for the nth time.
I promise. Nothing is abandoned. Those WIPs will be finished. Eventually.
For those of you sticking around, thank you. For those of you who’ve dropped some kudos, thank you. Reminds me that there are still folks interested in the way I throw words together and hope they make sense.
