deep breath - it's a concept made by my lovely @spoluk wherein humans with drastic injuries/ailments/near death are given another chance by coming into contact with an object called 'the cyber core,' which when used with the addition of a chosen bug by the inductee, corrects/heals the body with attributes form the chosen bug. For example, Reba was burned badly and used a large cicada for her cyber core focus (her legs and left hand, the tiny wings were just a plus) while Lex used an EVEN BIGGER tarantula (her arms, large portion of her torso, etc etc).
Simian is a good example of one I've posted before, he's my darling golden scarab beetle boy <3 Feel free to ask more questions if you'd like!
