“It’s not going to start. The lights are on so it can’t be the battery.” Yuna looked to Anwar, still upset at both the situation, as well as the argument they had just before the car died. As much as she wanted to complain about the car being dead, it wouldn’t do them any good. “We’re still too far from Seoul. We’d be better off finding the closest hotel.” She hugged her jacket closer to her, shivering a bit from the cold wind that was hitting them. 

     it  all  seemed  to  happen  so  quickly.  one  second  she  saw  the  other  standing  beside  her  —  they  had  just  been  talking  about  something  before  maddie’s  boyfriend  interrupted  them  for  his  big  announcement.  she  was  sure  of  it.  so  where  were  they  now?  gone  from  her  sight  after  her  freshly-titled  fiancé   popped  the  big  question.  she  had  said  yes  to  the  proposal.  god,  of  course  she  did.  they  were  madly  in  love,  weren’t  they?  then  why  did  her  attention  rush  to  find  the  other’s  eyes  the  second  the ring was pulled out, only for them  to  be  god  knows  where?  her  heart  was  racing  faster  than  her  mind  was  and  in  that  moment,  nothing  felt  right.  she  searched  the  entire  place  for  them  before  finally  finding  a  closed  door  and  hoped  they  would  be  behind  it.  one  knock  to  the  wood,  then  two.  “ it’s  maddie, ”  she  offers.  “ please  let  me  in.  i,  um  —  i  need  to  talk  to  you. ”
