She absolutely 100% is. Well, let me back up: itâs not so much her decision to send him on the assignment - because that was a newsworthy story and someone had to go - but that she wasnât there to save him.Â
Sheâs saved Shiro countless times, from incredibly dire fates. Sheâs always been there for him, sheâs always swooped in at the last second. And this time she wasnât. She wasnât there to save him and he lost his arm and... She wasnât there. Thatâs what haunts her.
@ll-eucalypse just asked me how much time elapses in Arc 1, and I pegged it at about 4.5 months. And even now, she still blames herself. She still feels guilty.
