SPRING — You are cordially invited to attend the first event of the season! The cities of New York and Gotham are hosting a charity gala in the dual effort to honor the brave men and women of their fire departments and first responders. These firefighters and EMS arrive in the wake of every emergency, super or mundane. Tonight, they are the heroes.
The dress code is Black Tie Creative, meaning the event invites its guests to dress up and accessorize with flair. The event will be attended by such parties as the NY & Gotham Fire Chiefs, Captains, heads of hospitals, politicians, and perhaps even the mayors.
On the main floor are many tables for dining and drinking. Dinner can be enjoyed to the musical stylings of Ms. Dinah Lance, and afterwards the floor opens up for dancing to a live band. On the second floor is a silent auction to raise money for the cause (see below!), surrounded by a wonderful photo reel showcasing the firefighters and first responders hard at work amidst disaster. The third floor is off limits.
In addition to traditional vacation getaways, cruises, and spa packages, up for bid we have:
An IRON MAN original prototype suit, non-functioning
A custom-made, lab grown, ethically flawless diamond necklace curated by one DR. BANNER
A chance to lift THOR’s hammer! (top 3 bids!)
An old-fashioned swing dance lesson with CAPTAIN AMERICA! Professional instructor included.
Self defense classes by the legendary BLACK WIDOW
An authentic pair of signed stakes by the SLAYER
A day swinging around the city with SPIDER-MAN - not for the faint of heart!
Generously, SPIDER-MAN has also offered his company for the evening! Win a date with the friendly local!
An outdoor experience at an archery range with sharpshooter HAWKEYE
A private dinner and a show featuring Dinah Lance, courtesy of the BIRDS OF PREY
In addition, Gotham’s very own Jason Todd offers a one-of-a-kind, VIP experience at the Iceberg Lounge! $1,000 in chips included.
This is a mini-event starting April 1st. It is non-mandatory, but members are encouraged to use it as a prompt!
