I got the gist of it. People always think they're entitled. I'm going to be in line of work with actors, so I feel I have to say that Actors (including Misha) give their time and hard work into each film they play in. It's because they work so hard that that film turns /good/. Misha doesn't owe us anything. In fact, it's us fans who should owe Misha (and other actors) for producing films that we become to love.
They do and I hate it. I feel like a lot of people are so ungrateful nowadays. They owe us nothing. They put everything into every project they work on. And then there's people like Misha who give above and beyond in trying to give to the fandom. It just ridiculous to think he owes us anything. And I agree it's us who owe them because they enrich our lives by bringing some of our favorite stories to life.
Holy crap. What is wrong with people? That thing at Christmas, I was so excited for, but I never knew it was cancelled because of hate - I only ever knew about the 'conflicts in schedule'. But this, and the various 'We Hate Misha' campaigns? It's absolutely sickening! I really, truly hope Misha knows he's loved and respected and appreciated by so, so many, I really do, because he deserves to know that. It must be horrible to have these things happening. It's disgusting.
He never said officially that it was cancelled because of hate but you don't plan something for months, announce it and then the next day, "oh no, scheduling conflict". And it was like in the morning of the next day that it was announced that it was cancelled. I just. Ugh. And yes, all this hate for someone who puts out so much good into this world and who is such a genuine, loving and wonderful person. It makes no sense to me. And I think he knows that but sometimes the hate can be so loud it's hard to ignore, ya know? But that's why we have to keep on showing him our love and appreciation. He deserves it a hundred fold.
Okay, that whole Christmas with Misha, did it really happen...? For 8 bucks? I WOULD HAVE GIVEN MY HALF LIVER TO BE IN THE SAME ROOM AS MISHA. Fucking, bloody, disgusting people. I had enough of this... I am seriously livid right now.
Well you were just in a normal chat room for that I believe, if I remember right. But yes. Same. You'd still be able to see and hear him and you can bet your life it would have been the funniest fucking thing. Yeah, I'm still angry about it tbh. It can't believe how awful people can be, how entitled they believe they are. But whatever. All we can do is continue to spread love and positivity to him and continue to show him that those people are actually the minority and that he has a league of people who love him for who he is and for how much he tries to give back to us. He's really amazing.
I didn't even hear about what happened last christmas (I wasn't as actively involved with the fandom) but it's really upsetting to hear that. I literally cringe when people hate on Misha.
Yeah, me too. I truly don't understand the hate he receives. It's completely unwarranted and undeserved. But alas, there are people who hate an unborn baby so.

What happened last Christmas? (I’ve been watching Supernatural for like, two months, so I’m still really out of the loop with stuff that happen before I got into the fandom)

What’s the Misha Christmas story? I don’t know it…
Putting these all here because I don't want you guys to think I was ignoring you.
I made a long post about it when it happened that can explain it better than I can now. Basically a lot of people acted like entitled assholes and caused such a shit storm that it reached Misha and he cancelled the even he'd been planning, FOR US, the very next day. But yes. That post explains it more in detail.
what CWNBTS?
It was supposed to be a showing of Misha's movie "Stonehenge Apocalypse" but it didn't happen. Click here if you want to know more about it. Hope this helps nonny <3
Because you seem to be in the know... do you have any idea if the CWNBTS event is going to be attempted again this year (or ever)? All that stuff about what happened makes me so sad, disappointed, angry, rageful, etc. Seriously, I would probably pay $20 even without the chat/being on camera or w/e the money got you. I don't even care where the money was going. That sounds like so much fun!! Aw man. Now I just want to send him all the positive messages in the world.
I don't know if I'm in the know? But I just like to keep up on Misha because I really care about him. :) It made me all those things too, nonny. I was really upset about it, it would have been a blast! But people can be really quick to be judgmental and selfish.
I don't know if it's happening again this year but I was just thinking about this recently. I'd love for it to be an every year thing. It's a really wonderful movie, Misha is phenomenal and I think it could serve as a reminder about what happened and to be thankful we have someone as wonderful as Misha. But I don't know if anyone would want to come and see it???
If you feel like it, you should definitely send him positive messages! You don't have to mention CWNBTS, cause that may be a sore subject for him (we really don't know), but for sure say how wonderful and amazing you think he is! How funny and kind and everything else. I know he gets a lot of hate and to me, there's absolutely no one more undeserving of hate than Misha.
