Charles Weasley is a fifth year Ravenclaw and is open.
paint-covered hands and paint-splattered shirts. charcoal-stained fingers. a smear of pastel across his face. he taps his fingers restlessly when he’s bored. is known for making snarky jokes at the worst possible times. always has a tablet with him. instead of taking notes, he will doodle in the margins.
Background
Charles Weasley was not someone most people would think would be sorted into Ravenclaw. He never would get into arguments over whether or not one magical technique was better than another, and studying had never been his favorite thing to do. Instead, he embodied the more creative traits of Ravenclaw. He was always creating. He drew sketches of the quidditch matches. He painted the creatures they studied in the Care of Magical Creatures. They weren’t just the drawings of an amateur. He was talented. That was clear from a very young age. His brothers would be out and about, doing this and that, but he would have a pencil or a piece of charcoal in hand and would be drawing whatever he felt like. So long as he had some way that he could express his creativity, he was happy.
But that wasn’t always possible. Professors would tell him to put his paper away and to pay attention to what they were doing in class. Merlin did that make him angry. He would stow his things away, crossing his arms as he leaned back in his seat. Not only did he not pay attention after that, he would reply tersely and crossly. His words became harsh and bitter. He knew what he was going to do with his life. He was going to be an illustrator. He didn’t need magic for that. He only needed his talent. And oh he was sure he had it.
