~*~*~
Killian had been staring at Ruby ever since he walked into Grannyâs Diner. He had sat there, nursing rum after rum, for hours just to have an excuse to see her. Her small waist was hugged by the black lace shirt she wore. It exposed pieces of pale skin all over her stomach, and only the black bandeau she wore covered her chest. As he looked further down, red skinny jeans hugged her mile-long legs until they disappeared into knee high black boots. What Killian wouldnât give to rip off all of that to get at the tasteful skin beneath.
He licked his spiced lips as he considered her features carefully. He mapped out the curve of her hip and the swell of her chest in his mind. His ocean blue eyes raked her over again and again. âCan I get another rum here, love?â he asked. Though he had had many, he was far from drunk. The pirate knew how to hold his liquor.
âWeâre gonna be closing up soon, Killian,â she said as she poured him yet another glass. âAre you going back to the Jolly Roger, or are you taking a room tonight?â
Killian picked up his glass and gave the brunette a wink. âNow that all depends on you, love.â
Ruby took a quick look around the diner to find that no other customers remained except for Killian. âWell, I know thereâs a room you could stay in,â she said, pulling up a glass for herself and pouring a finger of rum in. âIf you were so inclined to do so.â
She drank down the rum in one shot before slamming her glass back down on the table. She shook out her long, brown hair and pulled off the apron that was tied around her hips. She moved to the front door and locked it. She flipped the sign to âClosedâ before turning back to the pirate.
She took the lapel of his long leather jacket in her fist and yanked him to his feet. âDoes this meanâŚ?â Killian began to ask.
Ruby rolled her eyes, glaring up at him. The pirate was ridiculously annoying at times. Sometimes, she just wanted him to go for it instead of asking permission all the time. âFor once, I wish you would go on body language instead of asking.â
That was the only answer the pirate needed. His hook dug into her hip, yanking her ever closer to him. His hand tangled in the hair at the base of her skull as he pressed a hot kiss to her mouth. Her cherry lips moved against his with passion and vigor. Tongues entwined in a dance of the pairâs usual lust.
The pirateâs lips soon moved down her neck as he walked her backwards until her back pressed into the hard edge of the counter. Killian dragged his tongue in a short line up the side of her neck into a hot kiss beneath her ear.
âWe should go upstairs,â Ruby said breathlessly. Killian groaned, but did not remove his lips from her neck. âKillian⌠no, really, Killian. Upstairs. Now.â
He groaned again, but released her neck from his lips and allowed her to lead him up through the back of the diner and to her apartment in the inn. As soon as the door was closed and locked behind them, layers of clothes fell off until Killian wore only his pants, and Ruby stood before him in just a bandeau and lacy underwear.
Rubyâs fingers scratched down his chest towards the happy trail that led down below the leather pants he still wore. She kissed down his chest, nipping at it gently with her teeth. She pulled down the leather covering his legs, the way she had so many times before. Once he was free of them, she took him into her mouth, lightly trailing her teeth along his length. A flash of mischief went through her eyes when she looked up at him. âBloody hell, love,â he whispered. He grabbed her arm with his good hand, and moved her back up his body to press her against his chest.
While they shared another hot kiss, Killian hooked his hook into her underwear to pull them down her long legs, trailing kissed in the same way that she had to him.
âGod dammit, Killian. No more teasing,â the she-wolf whined. He walked her into the bed, and she fell back with him hovering over her. He reached to her bedside drawer, pulling out one of the small, square packages.
After rolling the condom on to himself, he took one quick thrust to enter his beloved she-wolf. A soft moan escaped the womanâs lips as she moved against him in time. She kissed and bit along his neck, and her fingertips dug deep into the pirateâs back. Tiny red trails followed down in random patterns over his shoulders and back. In some places, blood began to trickle out of the wounds as their bodies moved together faster and harder.
Killianâs good hand gripped her hip, surely leaving finger-sized bruises along the pale flesh. Before long, his hand was reaching between their bodies to gently stroke her. She gasped lightly, but dug her teeth in where his neck met his shoulder. He knew there would be a bit of blood drawn, and he knew she did it on purpose.
Waves washed over her, and Killian kept moving within her until he reached his own released minutes later. For a few more moments, he gathered up the will to move from her. Part of him never wanted to move, but he knew he had to eventually. Slowly, he removed himself from her, pecking her lips softly. He threw away the evidence of their tryst in the garbage near her bed before pulling her into his chest.
Ruby laid her head on his collarbone, his good hand running through her hair, and his hook resting on her upper arm. An easy smile was on his face as he felt Ruby pull her blankets up around them. âWell, that was enjoyable, as always, love,â Killian said with a wink.
âMhmm,â Ruby mumbled, getting lost in the feeling of his hand running through her long hair.
âSo, I was thinking that maybe⌠youâd want to go away with me,â Killian said. He had brought the subject up many times, but the answer was almost always the same. He had gotten used to the sting of her rejection to go on an adventure with him.
Ruby bit her lip. âYes,â she said excitedly, her tongue touching her canine devilishly.
âReally?â Killian asked, surprise evident in his voice.
âReally. I love Storybrooke, and I canât go away with you forever, but I canât not see whatâs beyond here. I want adventure, and I want you,â she said, kissing his shoulder as she spoke. âI want to stay with you, wherever we happen to go.â
Killian grinned. âAnd that, love, is the answer I have been waiting for.â
Identity
Late submission for CW week. Yesterday's prompt: Identity
Killian Jones sailed the Jolly Roger into the port of Storybrooke. He knew he had managed to get through, so the curse must be broken. But Cora hadnât sailed with him, and, for that, Killian was beyond thankful. He didnât want the Red Queen anywhere near his vessel. The only reason he had aligned with her was because he could keep his memories and get to Storybrooke.
He anchored the Jolly Roger in the harbor and walked out onto the docks. For once, he had replaced his hook with a fake hand. No need to alarm the entire town with who he really was just yet. Many from the Enchanted Forest had never met him, so his face would go unnoticed. He had even managed to find some modern clothes before he reached the town proper.
He had walked into the town expecting the curse to have been broken. But when he walked through the town, listening to the conversations, he couldnât believe what he had heard. The people of the town were talking about some affair between a Mary Margret and a David Nolan, and other superficial things. The few he did recognize did not answer the names Killian knew them by. The woman he had known to be Snow White, who had seen him before in the forest, merely passed him by when someone called for a Mary Margret.
Killian watched her as she walked on. She looked different than she had in the Enchanted Forest, from the few times he had seen her. But she wasnât the one he was looking for. He was looking for a beautiful woman who had once wore a red cloak. From what he had seen of this new realm, no one was wearing the fashions from the Enchanted Forest.
So he looked for the beautiful woman that had haunted his dreams for so long. Outside the town diner, he found the woman he was looking for with her grandmother, complaining about the morning shift. He smiled, happy to walk towards her. She looked different. There was make-up on her face, and her long brown hair was straight and streaked with red. Her clothing consisted of bright red shorts, a white button up tied around her waist, and stiletto heels. Killian couldnât keep his eyes off her, as it was whenever he saw her. That woman had his attention in any crowd. No matter how much of a villain he may have been, Red was his new love.
He watched Red and her grandmother walking into the diner, and slipped inside after them. A blonde woman sat in a booth with a young boy, and a few other people Killian did not know were around the diner. Red was walking around the diner, taking and handing out orders. Killian sat down at the counter, feeling the eyes of the townspeople around him glued to his back.
The woman waiting on everyone looked at him with wide eyes. It was as though she had never seen him before, and wasnât used to any kind of strangers in the diner. Killian felt the stab of heartache. She didnât know him. He could hardly stand it. âIâll be right with you,â she called over before she engaged the young boy with the blonde in conversation.
Killian sighed heavily, his good fingers playing with his large rings. He stared down at his hand. Maybe he wouldnât feel so bad if he could just focus on something. Revenge? Sailing? His rings? Anything was better than the blank expression of the woman he loved.
The leggy woman walked back over to the counter, putting in an order before she walked over to the stranger. âGood morning. You look new,â she said with a wide smile on her cherry lips. âWe donât get many visitors in Storybrooke.â Killian looked up from his hand and his eyes were drawn up to her flawless face. âWhat can I get for you?â
Killian smiled sadly. âJust an ale,â he mumbled.
âAle? Itâs 8a.m. and beer isnât served until 5p.m.,â the woman told him. âIs there something else I can get you?â
âJust a coffee, then, love,â he said. His usual pet name for her just slipped right out without him meaning to. He saw his beautyâs face flush a deep red before she turned to fill up a coffee mug.
âSo,â she began when she turned around, sliding the mug in front of the handsome man, âwhat brings you to Storybrooke?â
âI came looking for someone I lost. Sheâs kind of my guiding star,â he said, taking a sip of the black coffee before him. The woman tilted her head questioningly at him. âWe got separated while I was away on work, and I was told she moved back here.â
She looked at him with a soft smile. âIâm sure youâll find her, umâŚâ Her voice trailed off when she realized she didnât know the manâs name.
âKillian, Killian Jones,â the pirate said. âAnd what is your name?â
âRuby Lucas,â she said with a smile. Killian felt a pang of sadness. That was not how he knew her. His identity was lost with hers. Without her, he was exactly what everyone else had ever thought about him. She really was his guiding star. But she looked at him with an empty expression. She didnât know him at all. âSo, where are you from, Killian?â
âAll over,â he said. âI donât tend to stay in one place for very long. I do a lot of sailing for work.â
Ruby bit her cherry lip. âReally?â Her eyes were wide with interest. She absolutely adored the idea of adventure, and her green eyes were alight with that. It was still there; the look that had made him fall in love with her to begin with. âIâve always wanted to travel. Where was your favorite place?â
Killian thought it over. He had been so many places, but it was only when he traveled with her that it had truly mattered to him. âThere was a little island in the middle of the sea, and the woman I lost and I spent days upon days there. We looked for wolves, and the island was small enough to be close to the sea.â
âIt sounds amazing,â Ruby said dreamily.
As soon as the words left her mouth, Killian made a silent vow. He would get her to fall in love with him again. Heâd have his guiding star back. There was no way he was going to be the same villain everyone expected him to be. He would find his identity again, and he would help her find herself all over again. He couldnât go on with her not knowing who he was. âIt is, lass. It definitely is,â he said, eying her longingly. âMaybe one day, youâll see the world.â
Ruby grinned. Another customer called her name, and Ruby looked up quickly. âOne minute,â she called. Looking back down at Killian, she gave him a smooth smile. âMaybe I will,â she said with that infectious spark in her eye again.
She walked off to take care of the other customers. Killianâs eyes followed her for a short while before he set down the mug, and a few dollars in payment on the counter. He walked out of the diner more determined than ever.
He would get revenge of his Crocodile. Cora had told him who had created the spell, so Killian knew all about Rumplestiltskinâs involvement. It was the Crocodileâs fault that Killian couldnât have his love. Again.
Killian would get his revenge, and get his love back again. Ruby would remember him. She would remember herself.

Shattered Hearts
Valentine's Day has come to Storybrooke, and Red is not happy about it. Who can make her feel less crummy about the love holiday? Why our favorite devilishly handsome pirate, of course. Captain Wolf Week Day #5: Shattered.
Storybrooke was teeming with the Valentineâs Day jitters. The holiday was mere days away, and the town was filled with true love. Even the queen had found a new love. Red, however, had not. She was stuck with her shattered heart because of past sins, sins she hadnât been able to control. So she watched as couples came into the diner. Regina, Robin Hood, and his son took up a booth, Rumple and Belle took another, and Emma, Neal, and Henry were in yet another. Red waited on them all with a fake smile on her face. She had no interest in being surrounded by the happy couples while she was stuck alone.
Once she had taken food to each table, she returned to the bar counter. She leaned over it, burying her face in her arms.
âWhatâs wrong with you, lass?â a smooth voice asked. The brunette looked up to see the infamous pirate captain sliding onto the bar stool before her. âYou seem rather upset.â
Red sighed heavily. âI hate February,â she said. âIâm glad that people are happy, butâŚâ Her voice trailed off.
âBut it hurts to be alone.â Killian Jones knew that feeling all too well. âDo tell, why specifically this month? What makes February worse?â he asked.
Apparently he hadnât noticed all of the Valentineâs Day decorations that already littered the diner, much to Redâs dismay. Granny had put them up without telling her, and, whenever Red had tried, scolded the young brunette for taking them down. âValentineâs Day.â Killian gave her a vacant stare of complete ignorance. âItâs a holiday to celebrate love,â she explained. âAll the couples get together and rub their happiness in the lonely peoplesâ faces. It is not an enjoyable experience if you donât have that love.â
âAh⌠so not your favorite holiday, then?â Red shook her head. âWell, if you need an escape from the couples, you are always welcome on the Jolly Roger.â
âThanks,â Red replied, a slight, real smile touching her lips. âI may just take you up on that.â
Days passed by much the same. Couples would come into the diner, and, each time she waited on them, she felt the pain of a shattered heart. Even the other single people made her sad because they all spoke of the hope to find love. They all were sickeningly hopeful. Out of all the people in all the realms, they all think they can find their one true love. Even some of the others who had lost their true love thought they could find another. Red, however, couldnât seem to find that hope. There was just one person who made her feel like a human being instead of just a broken girl. The pirate captain had been in the diner every day until the late hours of the night when all the other patrons had dispersed. They talked and laughed together until she closed the diner. He made the couples and the hopeful singles bearable.
Valentineâs Day had arrived, and Red was working yet another day at the diner. Hearts and streamers overflowed the small area, and so did most of the couples of Storybrooke. Red felt her heart break over and over again. Every time the bell above the door jingled, she snapped her head to look to the door only to be disappointed when it wasnât her favorite pirate. After hours and hours, she finally lost the ability to stand the pain. She pulled off the apron that was tied around her waist and threw it on the counter. Without so much as a word, she fled from the diner with Grannyâs yells pervading the air after her. She ignored them as she pushed herself to run towards the dock, towards the Jolly Roger. She wanted to find the one person who didnât make her feel like her heart was shattered. She ran faster in anticipation.
She boarded the Jolly Roger, but slowed her pace when she didnât see him on the deck. Her mind immediately went to the worst. She thought over her decision to go to the pirateâs ship unannounced. Maybe he had found someone else to fill up his Valentineâs Day. He wasnât tethered to Storybrooke, so why should she think he hadnât gone to a nearby town instead of staying on the ship. Or maybe he was on the ship, but he had another woman in his quarters. Red turned on her heel and moved back towards the dock in defeat. She didnât know what she would find, but her fear overtook her. She couldnât bear to face the possibility that he had forgotten his offer to her. A single tear dropped from her eye as she reached the gang plank. Heavy footsteps behind her sounded, and a sultry voice stopped the wolf in her tracks. âThere you are, lass. I was beginning to think that you wouldnât come.â
The tear that had slipped down her cheek was wiped away before she turned to see Killian Jones just feet behind her. âFor a while, I didnât think I was,â she said softly. The confident womanâs voice was broken in a way that Killian had never heard from her.
He took a step towards her. âAnd why is that lass?â Killian asked carefully.
âBecause I thought I could handle it. But the love, or the hope of love, was overwhelming. I felt⌠broken. And, as of late, youâre the only person I havenât felt so shattered around⌠I just donât know how people can have so much hope.â
The pirate took another step towards her so the pair stood almost chest to chest. âYouâre not broken, lass.â He raised his good hand to tuck a loose strand of hair behind her ear. His fingertips trailed lightly along her jawline. âNot even close to broken.â
âMy heart⌠itâs been shattered to pieces for so long,â she told him softly.
Killian looked at her with surprisingly caring eyes. âI may not have dealt with it as well as you, lass, but I know what itâs like to lose someone. Pan called it right, Iâm a one-handed pirate with a drinking problem⌠But everyone needs some kind of hope, and Iâm sure youâll find it. I know I have. And if I can find hope, so can you.â
âHow are you still filled with hope?â
âI had lost it for a long time, lass. There was a long time where I was absolutely miserable. And I thought I had found hope in Emma, but itâs nothing like how I feel withâŚâ His voice trailed off. He may be a badass pirate, but he knew when there was a time to be blunt and a time to be quiet. He knew that if he pushed his feelings on her without her consent, he could lose her forever. His hope would be shattered the same way his heart had been.
She felt him move a slight bit closer, his breath warm on her cherry lips. She could smell his unique mixture of scents: leather, sea salt, wood, and the slight spice of rum. It was intoxicating to the wolf. âWhat gives you hope, Killian?â She hoped she knew the answer. After all the late night conversations at the diner the two had had, she knew what she wanted the answer to be.
He breathed softly. âYou, Red,â he told her. âYou are not the only one who had a shattered heart. When Iâm around you, it doesnât feel like my heart needs to stay the way it was. Something about you makes me feel like a new chance for love is possible.â
Red stood on her toes to touch her lips to his. Her hands threaded into his hair, pulling him closer to her. His fingertips did not move from her face, but his hooked arm wrapped around her waist, drawing her body flush against his chest. Her lips moved fiercely against his in their increasingly passionate kiss.
They broke apart for air, but returned to kissing a moment later. Red was lost in his scent, his taste, and his touch. She felt the pieces of her heart start to reform. Maybe it wasnât love yet, but it could be eventually.
When they parted again, Killian leant his forehead against hers. âSo, do you still hate this âValentineâs Dayâ?â he asked with a smirk.
Red chuckled. âI think itâs starting to grow on me,â she quipped. They stood together in silence for a few moments before Red sighed deeply. âI should get back to work, or Granny will kill me.â
Killian groaned. âMust you? I was starting to enjoy the evening,â he said with a wink. Red rolled her eyes, knowing he hadnât changed. But Red wouldnât want him any other way. If he wasnât his flirtatious, pirate self, she wouldnât feel the way she did about him.
âI do, but Iâm off at midnight. Come to the diner,â she offered.
âMidnight, huh? That gives me a few hours to plan something truly awe inspiring,â he said.
âLike what?â she asked.
âHmm⌠How does a late night dinner on a pirate ship sound, love?â he asked.
Red smiled at him, her eyes alight with joy. âSounds perfect. So Iâll see you soon?â Killian nodded. âPromise youâll come?â
âI promise,â he said, pulling her into another kiss. This kiss was softer than the others. It was more of a promise than a fevered meeting of two once broken souls. Killianâs thumb ran lightly across her bottom lip, which was almost enough to entice Red to stay on the ship. âI really should let you get back to work,â he said, releasing her waist and face, âor Iâll try to keep you on this ship forever.â Red moved out of his arms after one final peck to the pirateâs lips. She walked down to the docks, leaving Killian alone with his thoughts.
The woman he had just let go of had given him his hope back, and there was no way he was letting her go. The pirate had known when to give up on Emma, because he couldnât keep her from his true love, but Red was different. He would fight for her for as long as he had breath. He mused over the beautiful woman as he spent the next few hours preparing the best meal he could think of before going to find her at the diner. He had no doubts that a relationship with the wolf would never being boring, and he couldnât wait.

Wicked
All things truly wicked come from innocence. -Ernest Hemingway
âSet the sails, mates!â Killian Jones, captain of the Jolly Roger, bellowed from the helm. His men scrambled to do as he said, and the pirates hollered their approval of another adventure. They were off to chase another ship. The king had run them before, and now they were off to run down the kingâs men. Never again would they be under the foot of such a deceitful man. Killian would never allow that same king to forget the name of Jones. His brotherâs name would never be forgotten by the man who had caused his death.
The woman beside him stood with a triumphant grin on her face. Her dark hair whipped around her pale face with the strength of the wind. Her eyes sparkled with mischief and excitement. She had drawn her cherry lip between her teeth in anticipation. Killian couldnât help but admire her. She looked the part of the most fearsome pirate. Her leather pants curved tightly to her legs coming up from dark leather boots. A corset tugged in her already small waist and up to a white shirt billowing out. Overtop, she wore her ruby red jacket, and a leather piece was tied in her hair.
âReady to sail, love?â he asked, taking a step towards her.
Her head turned towards him. âAlways,â she said with a wide smile.
âMy, my, Ruby. You have become one hell of a pirate,â Killian commented. While others might have meant it as an insult, Ruby knew all too well that it was one of the highest compliments Killian could give. Well, besides his proclamations of love, which were never lost on her.
As they sailed fast and hard towards the kingâs ship, Ruby could see Killianâs eyes light with excitement. It touched his eyes every time he saw one of the kingâs vessels.
This was his true revenge. As much as he had plotted against Rumplestiltskin for the death of his love, it didnât compare to his distaste for the king. Ruby had finally accepted herself as a wolf, but she couldnât deny her lust for adventure. Being a pirate may not have been a great profession, but she loved it more than almost anything. She had lost her love, and she needed to find something to do. She couldnât be as good as she once was. Ruby had gotten tired of being feared. As a person, she was innocent, but the wolf was not. At least as a pirate, she could be feared for herself and not just the wolf.
Not only was she feared, but she was loved. Ruby had found a home aboard the ship. The crew had grown to love her despite the beast within. Killian, however, had grown to love her with the beast. He had seen her wolf, he had seen her innocent, and together they were wicked. Together, they attained what neither could get alone.
Ruby may not be truly wicked. She didnât kill unless absolutely necessary, which Killian very rarely allowed. The one-handed pirate was very adept with a sword, and yet he rarely killed either. He took what he could from the ships, on occasion offered places among his crew, but otherwise did not sink ships. The loss that they had both faced taught them that being killed wasnât a punishment, but living with killing was.
The Jolly Roger caught the opposing ship. True to his nature, Killian plundered all he could. Rations, the few jewels aboard, and supplies for the ship were brought over after the crew had been trapped in their own hull. When the crew had finished their plunder, Killian threw the key to the door behind which the crew was trapped down into the hull.
The men of the kingâs ship scrambled for the key to release themselves and get to the pirate that had cost them their profits. By the time the door was unlocked, the Jolly Roger was already on its way past and moving fast.
âWhy did you give them the key so easily, Killian?â Ruby asked as they sailed along. âWeâre still in range of their cannons!â
Killian chuckled. âYou forgot one important thing, my love.â Ruby tilted her head questioningly at the man beside her. âNever leave them with ammunition. All of their cannon balls are sitting pretty on our ship.â
The woman let out a melodious laugh. âWhy would I ever doubt your wickedness?â she asked, her eyes flashing yellow for a brief moment.
âFor the same reason I sometimes doubt yours. We may be wicked, but we still have some good within us.â He took his hook and brushed back a piece of deep brown hair to tuck it behind her ear. âBut there is no doubt that we are wicked,â he breathed in her ear.
Rubyâs breath caught in her throat. Apart, they had been innocent until wickedness had gripped them. Together, they were a wicked pair that challenged each other perfectly. Neither would yield to the other, and yet they loved each other with all their wicked little hearts. But they knew they could never be as wicked as they were before each other. Together, they were pirates, but not killers.
