Una prueba histórica de altos vuelos
El 17 de julio de 1979 fondeaba frente a las aguas del puerto de Barcelona el portaaviones “USS America” (CV-66), su escolta en cambio, el destructor “USS Arthur W. Radford” (DD-968), atracó en el interior del puerto. Durante esos años llegó a recalar en el puerto de Barcelona en hasta cinco ocasiones, siendo esta de 1979 su última visita. El portaaviones “USS America” fondeado frente al puerto…
