i've been thinking about a lot of stuff. frankly, i didn't need to make a post like this, but i'm feeling like filling yall in on what you've missed. i've been offline for a bit, trying to clear my head on some things i would like to not divulge in. however, they have been making me a bit droopy, and i wanted to fix that. so, here's what i wanna do for the next following months:

hang out with friends more often

i've been putting this off for the longest time, since going out can be a bit difficult sometimes. i know, kinda ridiculous coming from me of all people, but i would like to fix that. :3

would love to see my friends more often, instead of waiting for opportunities to..

2. do more research on older games i used to play

i made a post about this flash game i used to play, and i would like to look at more of those games. been getting this nostalgic rush lately, and i wanna indulge in those.

3. maybe get a wii, and experience nostalgia

i also made this post way back when, and i believe i mentioned playing on a wii. we have to give it away at some point, so i don't have it anymore. i don't know if i could even find a wii online, but if it's possible within the monetary range, then maybe.

4. write more short stories

i want to write more stories about things i like. that's about it.

5. hopefully be more active on here

there's nothing wrong with having some time to yourself, especially offline. however, i feel like i've been "too offline," if that makes sense. i want to have this nice balance between real life, and this blog.

aaand that's about it. there's no guarantee that i'll be able to complete any of these, but they're worth a shot. :)

this is something to keep my mind off of things...

so, i've been thinking about this lately. i remember being young, and turning on the computer in my granddad's living room. it was one of those that had a disk tray, where you can insert discs with games on there. like, to put it simply, the computer was OLD old.

anyway, if memory comes to serve, i was 9 years old in ████, and i booted up the computer. this was during the time where flash games was being used more, and it's so nostalgic looking back. however, i recall this game i remember playing with my brother.

i forgot what the game was called, but it was 2-player, and it was competitive. i think there were stickmen that you could control, and they had these generic ass swords that you could swing to the other player, just by moving either forward, or backward. one of the stickmen was a dark turquoise. the other one i'm unsure about.

anyway, my brother somehow broke the game, or at least that's what we thought at first. when he fell out of bounds, the game was literally breaking itself in front of our eyes. we were terrified, because well, we were kids, and we thought we broke our computer. thankfully, that didn't happen, but we did see his playable character in some weird tunnel area. it had the drawn texture of a cobblestone wall with torches on them, lighting both ways. the walls were poorly done, with a grayscale gradient added on it. comparing this area to the rest of the game, it had the least amount of time put into it, hence why the quality looked so unfinished, and poorly done.

he tried to move the character, but no matter what, he just stood there. eventually, he sat down, and put his head into his legs, and never moved again after that. all we got was a cave, torches, and his character just sleeping there. at first, i thought he was crying, but no. he was sleeping there. weird LOL

the game then restarted back to where it started. as if it never even happened to begin with. honestly, we were expecting a jumpscare, but thankfully, that didn't happen. we could've gotten in trouble if we were caught playing horror games growing up.

i tried looking for the game years later, but i got nowhere. i'm hoping that the game didn't go offline, but i can't be sure of it. whether the creator, or the website that used to host this game deleted it, OR it wasn't able to be archived in time before the death of flash, i can't necessarily tell. not even he knows a lot about it now. he didn't remember us even playing the game, which is weird.

does anyone know what i'm even talking about, or am i just misremembering? i can have the dumbest brain in the whole wide world sometimes (ALL THE TIME), so again, if i'm getting things wrong, then correcting me would be greatly appreciated.

i've been to a couple of them before, and i enjoyed all of them. so, i thought about bringing sylli to one of these. they were all out of the water, so we couldn't stay there for too long, or else we would've shriveled up (which wouldn't be very good, if you didn't know). since it was getting cold, we had to keep close to warm/hot things as we could. we also brought cups of our home with us, and while it helped to some degree, it didn't really make the experience better, but what can you do?

despite that however, it was fun. we could've brought a pumpkin home, but we didn't have the money for that. can you guess why? 😑

i'm glad xe had fun, and hopefully we can hang out some more soon enough. :]

weirdly enough, i was a bit... sick? in the greenhouse?

i was alright not too long after i sent the last message, so i'm a bit stumped on how that happened.

but yeah, happy birthday to our granfriend. :)
