Good on ya Tide Water College. Leading the way again. Why aren’t we doing this in the UK?

Last month, I wrote about the government’s plans to scrap maintenance grants for students from low-income families - and why it’s a terrible idea. Now it’s time for us to act, and do all we can to stop the cuts. On September 18, students around the country will be targeting different MPs, telling them to save our grants. UAL students will pay a visit to the Universities Minister Jo Johnson. The UAL activist group Arts Attack has called a protest in front of Johnson’s office. We’re meeting at 12 and travelling all together.
