Meanwhile I haven’t entirely finished Aimee’s new house or rebuilt the restaurant for a Drake and Becca scene. It was originally supposed to be in that BV shopping center makeover, but I wasn’t able to back it up. I don’t really want to do that all over again. Ah crap, and I need a premade Sim’s house too.

I’ve also been incredibly lazy.

I started working on an alternative building for Arlo’s apartment. The exterior looks nothing like the original, but it still sort of has that factory conversion vibe. Kind of. The interior is similar to his old place with a slightly different layout, and honestly I furnished the place before I even really sorted out what I was doing with the building as a whole. Which was probably stupid, but oh well. Sloane’s place across the hall is nothing like her original apartment. It’s considerably smaller for one thing. I kind of like it better so far. The big downside, however, is that I picked the wrong lot size, so the back apartments are basically tiny, narrow shells. Since it’s just for background scenery I guess it doesn’t matter that much. I am liking the idea of a courtyard. Guess I’ll see how it turns out.

It’s a little bit smaller and has a garage. I can’t seem to decide on the damn kitchen set (okay, I love the manor house kitchen but it’s just too fancy for them!), but for now it’s a simple buggybooz shaker and I’m calling it good. Ish.

Trying to make up a nice looking town again with all these spiffy new decos in hand, I can’t help but feel like, how the hell do y’all do this? Seeing a blank map is slightly overwhelming. I’ve got one tiny little area stuffed with rowhouses and a line of fake ones butting up against a shared footpath, and across town, the school, a kiddie park, and the police station. Oh yeah, and Lilith’s house. I really can’t remember how things were set up before I had to reinstall. Ugh.
