Nearly 10 years ago I was requested to customize a Taeyang doll that had been painted with magic markers(gah!) - I’d never been interested in customizing a Taeyang before but cleaned him up and gave him a makeover. After that I decided that Taeyang was actually quite charming and decided to try to find one on the cheap to customize. I found a Taeyang Captain Hook head on eBay for $20 USD and decided to get it, assuming I could find a body separately. I did a repaint and then went to find a body and had absolutely no luck as Captain Hook is a tan shade that didn’t match any other bodies either Taeyang/Groove or Obitsu (although I think since that time there have been other Taeyangs in the same shade but I could never find just the bodies). For the last almost 10 years I’ve been trying to find a body with a good color match and size and finally (FINALLY!) managed to get an Obitsu in their new Sunlight color. It looks 😊:
