We are really helping people that we may never meet with our art. Even those who view their product as entertainment or "content" for the internet, are lightening the moods of their viewers.
To me, music is spiritual. We are altering mind states, opening them up to new possibilities and realities by showing them our lyrical and sonic artwork.
Music makes people listen to opinions and empathize with others. We also feel seen, heard and understood by the songs and the artists and enter a new sphere of self-acceptance. I can use music for contemplations and celebrations. I use it to pray and to support my feelings when I'm pensive or focused on drawing. I believe that we are listening to music because it is a God-given gift. God is adored by angels and saints in worship and praise, in prayer and song. We have the ability to sing and dance. I want to sing and dance for God first, then also look at the Earth and share my feelings and thoughts about it while I empower other people who relate to some aspects of my reality.
My music can be mysterious and enigmatic, but also an accessory skill to my work as orator, by being charismatic and winsome.
Some things are meant to be shared for everybody, others are only there to draw the select few towards it. Not everything can be understood and appreciated by everybody.
Wisdom is my guideline and God, Jesus' father is my guide.
The Holy Bible says in Proverbs 2:10 -15 :
10 For wisdom will enter your heart,
and knowledge will be pleasant to your soul.
11 Discretion will protect you,
and understanding will guard you.
12 Wisdom will save you from the ways of wicked men,
from men whose words are perverse,
13 who have left the straight paths
to walk in dark ways,
14 who delight in doing wrong
and rejoice in the perverseness of evil,
15 whose paths are crooked
and who are devious in their ways.
