I've been replaying Awakening and I forgot how b a d Plegia and by extension Grima were portrayed bc I got so used to all your hcs(Cursed Fate in particular was what made me start really thinking about Plegia's people as a whole djdjdj)

Iāve gotten really used to my headcanons about Plegia, too, and itās really weird sometimes to look at the Awakening script or replay chapters and see just how theyāre represented in the game.Ā Itās upsetting, in a lot of ways, how Awakening just dismisses the whole of the nation as worshipers of evil and therefore evil themselves after the brief glimpse of good that we witnessed at the end of the conflict with Gangrel ā and itās a big part part of why Iāve gone to such lengths with my worldbuilding on the western side of the continent.Ā Plegia (and Grima, by extension) get such a raw deal in the game because of the Ylisse-centric focus that I just want to balance the narrative; the fact that my work has made such an impact, to the point that Awakeningās heavy-handed portrayal is so striking, is such an honor Iām so happy that my headcanons have impressed you so much that they seem like they could be canon <3 <3 <3
