concern is etched on his brow, but he wonders…. SHOULD he ask ? he nibbles timidly on his bottom lip as he considers the request before SLOWLY opening the door for her to enter. “ yeah, sure. my ROOMMATE is out for the weekend anyway. i hope you don’t mind cats. ” 

“I bring no harm.”  Melanie said simply, her voice distant from Russia - a Southern twang to her words. The ghost lady couldn’t confirm if she was angel or madwoman - she simply was Melanie. She was not vengeful - except towards one being, but simply sad.  “I swear it,”  she promised to the other.

        ‘  but  ---  but you are  ---- ’   the words catch in her throat.  well,  she can’t exactly say ghost out loud, can she?  that would be frightfully rude, and a little absurd.   instead, tatiana takes a step away from the mirror, frowning at the reflection  ---  not her own, but the strange, sad woman.    ‘  ---  not supposed to be here.   where are you from?  ’

        “That sounds awfully lonely, love.”

          ❝ Very little we do comes without consequence. ❞ He all but seems to brush that very ideal off, barely managing a shrug before his attention is drawn back to her question.

          ❝ I feel like there is no real correct answer for that. Sometimes you have to do what’s best for yourself, whether it hurts someone else or not. ❞ That came with stipulations of course, major ones, depending on the circumstance, which he frankly knew nothing about. Exactly the reason why his statement should be taken with a grain of salt.
