Nodding, Netto took the offered hand to shake it. “Yeah, I’m Netto Hikari. It’s really nice to finally meet one of Laika’s friends from home.” He offered the older a smile. “He doesn’t really talk much about Sharo, you know?” I’m glad he does have friends back home though… I wasn’t sure since he never mentioned it, but from what I’ve heard this guy’s really nice.

“Yes, I... Huh?” Turning around, Matvei peered at a boy he’d never seen before. At least, not in person. He vaguely recognised him from a few pictures he’d seen only brief glimpses of before. 

Almost immediately, Laika snatched the wrist of the hand that had just slapped him, and used it to help spin Netto around so that his back was facing him. He pushed the younger against the wall, restraining the arm he had a hold of behind Netto’s back while grabbing the other to join it.

I finally met the one all the rumours were about today... I wasn’t impressed. 

I never thought we’d end up saving the “famous net battler’s” navi. I don’t understand why he’s so popular if he can’t win a battle on his own. Rumours really are almost always unreliable in the end. 

But he is interesting. Even Blues is curious about his navi. Maybe they won’t be completely disappointing...

Only the tournament will tell. I won’t waste my time after that.
