We slept in/relaxed, watched Band of Brothers, and got a tour of all the memorabilia here at the camp!! The best thing was absolutely Popeye Wynn's footlocker ✨ the camp is run/maintained by an older couple and they're just lovely 🥺

Last night was our third night staying in the barracks!! Yesterday we went to the Currahee Military Museum, visited the airborne monument, and hiked Currahee!! The museum was absolutely wonderful - they even have a stable where Easy company was known to have stayed in aldbourne!! :D as for Currahee... She is a doozy 🤣 the trail dips in the middle so it's kinda uphill both ways, and when you get near the top it gets SUPER steep, but the end result is so worth it! Also biggest shout-out ever to Irrigate at Currahee - when I wanted to stop and I was thinking about turning around they stopped for NOTHING!! They really helped me get to the top of the mountain 😂 (the second to last picture is the thing they'd touch before coming back down!)
