Headcanon:
Retsu worked closely with Mayuri to stabilize and essentially tie the spirits of two Golden Retrievers to herself, to act as therapy dogs during sessions with patients. Their names are Serotonin (female, "Sera") and Dopamine (male, "Dopi"). People are free to come see them with advance notice, and can lavish in the love of two fuzzy friends that are very happy to see you!
