1. Do you prefer traditional drawing, or digital?

mostly digital just because its - easier? it’s more available, since i’m usually on my computer anyway, and it’s obviously easier to post online. but i like traditional drawing a lot too. i find traditional drawing is really great for sketches, but inking and colouring are easier in digital

5. What’s your favorite thing to draw?

oohh i dunno. i guess faces, that’s what i draw the most of. i like drawing hair, and eyes can be fun. i also really enjoy drawing necks for some reason? and also the muscles around and under the shoulder joint, they’re neat.

15. How long does an average piece take you to complete?

hah, depends on what it means by “complete”

stuff like this takes me, oh, an hour or an hour and a half depending on how ambitious i get. stuff with proper lineart like this can add a solid hour or two at least because i suck at lineart. cell shading doesn’t take very long, but once i start blending my shading like this it adds several more hours, and at that point its usually spread over a couple days.

so like anywhere from 1 to 7 or 8 hours total

18. What are you currently trying to improve on?

eh i’ll mix and match, my three primary hopeful characters atm

got kicked out of a prestigious art-focussed middle school for making an installation piece that was basically a big fuck you to the institution. this is what got him major attention, too.

had a legit near-death experience. ask him about it sometime.

🌟 Inari Kodama

got into swordsmanship because he really likes old school samurai movies

kinda piggy-backed off of Jin’s popularity to gain his own fanbase. aside from his actual work he’s got an internet following interested in his misadventures around Nara. his faux-instagram page has way too many followers
