2009! 😨😱😦😲😭 #flashbackfriday Was I the only one who thought this was #hairgoals ? 😨 I faithfully used mousse, gel and then hairspray. After I would stand in front of the fan so that my hair can stiff up, get crunchy and to achieve this look😨 I thought the harder/stiffer the hair the better. I did this to my hair for SO MANY years of my life. Let's not forget the hair dyes and flat irons almost every day of the month. If you look closely you can see my roots wanting to come in curly but noooo way was I ok with that and so I continued to damage my hair. I remember loving the winter days when I would use all these products and the second I walked outside my hair would get VERY CRUNCHY. I truly thought this was the way to curls (boy was I wrong) I hated the summer because it wouldn't get as crunchy and when I would sweat at gym in school I would feel the gel dripping down my forehead ugh 😨 what was I thinking! I hated my curls so much. After so many years of not knowing my hair and damaging it I thought I would never get them back to how they look now. I've come a longgg way 🤗 .
