Greg Lestrade
My NOTP for them: John/Lestrade - before Series 3 aired, I loved Johnstrade, but after TPTB turned John from a precious cinnamon roll who witnessed his best friend’s death to a man who can’t control his temper, punches people and kicks inanimate objects, I just can’t. Also, some fans go a bit too far in glorifying his temper and that’s turned me off to the character. It’s not John’s fault, but I just don’t see him with my lovely Lestrade anymore : /
My BROTP for them: Lestrade/John Luther (played by Idris Elba in the Luther BBC TV series). Luther is a lot like Sherlock in the way his mind works and I can imagine them having a weekly boys night out at a local pub :3
My OTP for them: Sherlock/Lestrade 5ever
My second choice pairing for them: Mycroft/Lestrade
My fluffy pairing for them: Lestrade/Molly Hooper - I mean, all the cute tweets about Roo from Loo gives it such life UGH
My angsty pairing for them: Lestrade/Moriarty - I have a mighty need for this rare pair because I can sooooo imagine Jim having a big crush on Greg and it be non-reciprocal to the point where he goes to extreme ends to have Lestrade.
My favorite poly ship for them: Sherlock/Lestrade/Mycroft - Yes, I put Lestrade in the middle because it’s interesting to see how much fuss and mess would come about since neither of the Holmes men would want to share him :D
My weirdest pairing for them: Lestrade/Irene Adler - not weird, but has so much hotness potential. I mean, didn’t she say she knew a policeman?
