I am not sure if this counts as a shadow person or not..

Back in sophmore year (2002) I fell asleep upstairs, probably around 7 pm or so. The black leather couch we have is ridiculously comfortable and it's hard to lay there, watch tv and not pass out. I was only out for maybe an hour or two, sleeping on my back (which is kinda unusual for me, but that couch is so comfortable I suppose you can fall asleep in almost any position)... when I opened my eyes this.... THING.. was bent over me, it's "face" right in mine, possibly even as close as 6 fucking inches away from my face.

Its hard to describe, the way it looked... it was a humanoid shape, distinctly darker than my surroundings, but not by much, the "filling" of this shape looked like heat-waves rising off of blacktop on a scorching day.

It must have noticed I had woken up (I was wide-eyed and shocked, how could it not) and it stood up straight.. it was bent at an... unhuman angle, to be looking directly into my face as it did. If it were a person it'd be almost like it had bent it's knees backwards to stand over me like it was.. maybe more like bending mid-thigh.. it's really hard to explain X__X

But.. yeah.. it stood up straight, backed away.. and faded into nothing.
