Cornwall continues to inspire greatness in creators and makers and gin is no different. I could have bought a different Cornish gin for every day of the week. This would have raised a few eyebrows and been difficult to store in my tiny cupboard at home although i would have given it a good go! I chose 2 and my second was a wild card. @curiospiritscompany caught my eye not least because of their snazzy labelling but because i love rock samphire. I checked their website for suggestions and went with a strip of lemon peel, a big sprig of basil, some cubeb peppercorns and @fevertree . The website describes Curio's gin as light and breezy and i would agree. There is so much flavour and the herbal notes of the samphire are lifted by the basil. This is such a beautiful gin that i think will shine with a more spicy mix of star anise and coriander or even cucumber and mint.
