This Art Deco engagement ring centers a 2.24 carat old European cut diamond, K color and VS2 clarity. The center diamond is set in prongs and circled by a halo of calibre French cut natural sapphires. The mounting of this ring is handcrafted platinum and features floral open-work filigree, adorned with single-cut diamonds and fine milgrain. The openwork design continues down the shoulders and along the under-gallery, which is also set with sapphires. Hand-engravings decorate the shank. This ring is antique, circa 1925.
