So Dean probably hasn't told Mary about Carver Edlund's Supernatural series, right? I nominate Gabriel to snap up the entire series! Or at least the books with cute Brothers Winchester moments (*cough* French Mistake would've been online with the rest of season 6 *cough*)

I did actually have Dean BRIEFLY mention the SPN book series in āChild of Godā when he tells Mary about Chuck. He referred to them as the āWinchester Gospels.āĀ I debated a LOT over how I wanted Mary to learn their backstory.Ā Iāve read several fics where Mary either gets the books or āsomeoneā mysteriously gifts the bunker with the dvds of our worldās series (or the French Mistakeās world).Ā
I decided that I wanted her to learn MOST of their history from the boys themselves.Ā BUT Iām still considering having her stumble over them at some point and reading them all to fill in some of the details they donāt mention (which could also lead to some revelations for the boys since they donāt know everything that went on during times they were separated)!
Iām not sure if Iād do it as a one-shot (to go into the āAsk and It Shall Be Givenā collection) or have it be an ongoing background plot through a few different storiesā¦
I could see Gabriel being very interested in reading all the stuff heās missed too!Ā Hmmmā¦.
