My aunts/uncles, cousins in relationships, and friends in relationships (who I don’t see often) always ask me if I have a boyfriend. I get it, they all have a significant other who makes them happy and stuff and they want to know if I’ve found that happiness too. It’s a harmless conversation topic and they probably mean well but I’m fine on my own for now and I don’t need a sig. other to be happy. Questions like that just make me feel like I’m pressured or something to find someone even though I’m perfectly fine being independent.
