(via Teal and Red Highbacked corset by Cuddlyparrot on deviantART) "The musculature of a aerialist presents an interesting challenge to the corsetiere. In this piece we decided to accentuate rather than diminish her powerful shoulders by encasing them in a high, strapped back. This underbust corset is fit perfectly under her bustline While the overall panel shaping is Edwardian-inspired, with silk-satin piping meeting at a four-way intersection at the hip, the back is truly unique, accentuating a tiny waist and arcing gracefully up to the nape of the neck. The angled triangular shoulder straps provide nearly a halter-style shaping in the front. This corset can be worn with a blouse underneath, or with the matching pair of pasties. I suggested one red heart & one spade in teal as a set of pasties to wear with a black ruff with teal beading. My client plans on adding rhinestones to this piece for a burlesque act."
