Criteria for URGENT (<1hr) CT head - Adults

GCS - <13 on admission, or <15 two hours after injury

Suspected skull fracture

Seziure

Focal neurological deficit

>1 episode of vomiting

Criteria for CT scan within 8hrs - some LoC/amnesia and...

Age - 65yrs+

History of bleeding/clotting disorder (incl. warfarin)

Mechanism - hit by car, fall >1m, ejected from car etc

Amnesia - >30min, retrograde amnesia
