“She’s Pretty Darn Cute!” Asa/Yoru x Male Reader. A story about how Y/n had saved up a bunch of money from his job and had gone out and secretly bought Asa and Yoru a little calico kitten, also loved the little kitten very much, proclaiming that it was probably the best gift that Y/n had ever gotten her. Yoru was pretty annoyed at the fact that Asa was having any fun at all, and so decided, just to make her sad, she tried to turn the cat into weapon out of spite, and after a little while of Asa holding her back and Yoru scaring the little kitten have to death she eventually excepts the little kitten with Y/n’s interference. But after a little while when she saw the kittens razor sharp claws accidentally scratch one of them, she got a devious plan… she was going to teach the little kitten how to become her perfect murder machine! (To little to no success) she kept trying to give the kitten a knife, but it just wouldn’t pick it up and ended up instead grooming itself. She’d tell it to scratch Asa when she was available, it wouldn’t do it. She told it to claw someone’s eyes out, it wouldn’t do it. But Yoru still decided to let the kitten live since it was “too cute to kill”. And so they all decided to name the kitten a name they all enjoyed, (except for Yoru, who wanted to name it “AK-47”) and named her…
You could decide a name. I’m bad at coming up with kitten names. I have two cats one is named Scone and one is named Biscuit and people criticize their names all the time. Anyways, have a good summer, hope you enjoy!
Gifting a cat to asa and yoru

A/n:sorry but I actually still left the cat's name ambiguous simply because even if I am a cat person I have never had a cat in my life and didn't want to choose a bad name even if I personally really like your cat's names
It all started when you visited asa (and technically yoru) carrying a large box with some small holes in it, she let you enter and you placed it on the ground smiling
"Oh a gift?...thank you i suppose...but what is it?"
"Well i can't just ruin the surprise can I? You gotta find out yourself"
Asa sat down and opened the box, she loved basically every gift you gave her and she was sure this was going to be no exception but she definitely didn't expect what was inside to completely shock her as it did
Because once she moved the cardboard flaps out of the way she widened her eyes and gasped loudly at the sight inside, it was an adorable calico kitten with black and orange spots and green eyes and as soon as it saw her it started meowing at asa
"...are you serious!? T-this is a joke right?"
"Nope, I got you a kitten all for you, I saved to get you a very special gift, i wanted to give it on your birthday but I just couldn't resist doing it a bit early"
".....so....you bought me this....Just for me.... just to make me happy?"
"Yeah of course, i know how much you love cats. Oh and I also know black cats are your favorites but I couldn't find any i hope you still like calico-"
To your surprise you couldn't finish your sentence as asa hugged you with huge smile on her face, it was pretty rare seeing her this affectionate....or happy to be honest
"Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you so much, I really can't believe you'd do something like this for me"
"Eheh of course I love you after all"
"Ahh I love you too, so so much"
After breaking the hug asa kept smiling as she took the cat out of the box and started petting it
"Your smile is beautiful asa, I'm really glad you can smile like this, i know it's not easy for you"
A bit of red made its way on her cheeks as she smiled even brighter
"....well it's mostly because of you....you make my life so much better and make me so happy with everything you do, especially if you keep doing stuff like this"
You kissed for a moment before she went back to petting the kitten and you started leaving her house
"Bye asa, see you tomorrow, take care of the kitten I love you"
"Of course, tell me how I can repay you, i love you too"
"Well just you smiling more often will be more than enough payment"
This caused asa to laugh a bit and blush again as she kept waving at you leaving
".....everyday I'm more and more thankful to have met him"

Asa sighed as her smile dropped a bit
"I knew this beautiful moment couldn't last forever"
"What is that supposed to mean?"
Asa got up and opened her fridge before grabbing a piece of salmon from it
"I don't have cat food yet, I hope this is ok"
"You just have raw salmon in your fridge?"
"And I thought you were using it to feed stray kittens"
".....sometimes I do...anyway remind me to go to the store, I gotta buy cat food and a bunch of other stuff, I hope I have enough money"
"If you don't you can always ask y/n for help"
"Are you kidding? He already bought the cat for me with his own money. he already did more than enough"
Asa placed the piece of salmon in a small plate and gave it to the kitten who started eating it happily while asa kept petting it
"I can make it even cuter"
Before asa could protest further she fell unconscious and yoru took over the body
"I'll admit I feel a tiny bit bad doing this since y/n bought you but I'll give him back his money, this is worth seeing that parasite cry"
She tried to touch the cat but before her arm could even get close it was blocked and grabbed by her other arm
The force from her left arm on her right caused yoru to drop on the ground, this was one of the rare moments where both were in control of the body. Asa kept yoru's arm pinned as the war devil surprisingly struggled to get up or take control of more of the body
"I thought i told you, i'd much rather kill a human than a cat"
"W-where the hell does all this strength come from!?"
"This cat is the best gift that y/n has ever gotten me....no it's the best thing that anyone has ever done for me, i won't let you just ruin it!"
She applied even more pressure to the arm hurting yoru
"F-fine I'll stop just let go!"
Deciding to trust yoru for the time being asa actually let go and yoru let asa take full control of the body
".....you're a real pain in the ass when you want to be"
"Thank you for noticing that"
Eventually as asa kept taking care of the cat yoru was basically forced to accept it and stop trying to turn it in a weapon, mostly because of you talking to her about it, so she reluctantly accepted, however she still didn't feed the cat or even acknowledged its existence when she was in control of the body but at least it was an improvement from actively trying to kill it so it was fine for you
Or at least that was until on one day asa was bringing the cat the food she had bought and started to pet it in the meantime, apparently the cat didn't like that so she scratched asa's hand
"Ow! Hey don't do that! Bad kitty!"
"Eheh you serious let that inferior creature harm you? You're so pathetic"
"Cat's claws are very sharp I'll have you know, ugh now I'm gonna have to get a band aid"
".....really sharp you say?"
And that sparked an idea in yoru's head, whenever asa wasn't available she would take control of the body and try to make the kitten into a soldier to harm asa, it was the perfect plan!
"From now on you're my soldier got it!? You listen to my orders and now I order you to claw the eyes of your pathetic owner! Kill her! slaughter her! Make her suffer!"
The kitten just meowed at her and tried to nuzzle her
"Eh!? No that's the opposite of what you're supposed to do! Ugh! Fine we'll try something else"
She created a knife out of a random bug she found on the floor and placed it near the cat
"Pick it up, that's gonna be your weapon to kill asa"
The cat did nothing of the sort and simply started licking its paw
"Hey! I gave you an order! You're supposed to follow it!"
The cat ignored her and turned around
"Don't ignore me soldier!"
She grabbed the weapon and tried to give it to the cat again only for it to turn around ans scratch her hand, the one that didn't already have a band aid
"Eh!? How dare you hurt the war horseman of apocalypse! I'll slaughter yo-"
Before she could do anything she felt asa wake up and take control of the body
She noticed the pain on her other hand and the knife near the kitten
"........yoru what did you do?"
".....I don't wanna talk about it, it's embarrassing"
When you visited them in their house again the next morning and asked them about the band aids on their hands they both answered truthfully
"I was feeding it and petting it and it scratched me i think i touched it in a bad spot"
"Oh I'm sorry to hear that, but this is the first time it actually scratched you isn't it?"
"Yeah except for that moment we're going along great"
"That's amazing, I knew you would"
"Eheh well I was worried at first but it's really been going great, thank you again"
"It's nothing, i'd do anything to see you as happy as you are now"
"I tried to get the cat to hurt asa and it scratched me instead"
"I'm not it's just.....that's a very yoru answer"
"What is that supposed to mean?"
"Nothing....at least you're not trying to turn it into a weapon anymore"
"Yeah you'd be sad....plus I suppose it's cute"
"Oh? Did I hear the yoru call that something that wasn't a weapon cute? You're really warming up to it"
"Of course I'm not! It's just amusing to watch sometimes"
"Suuure yoru, make sure to take care of the cat too bye!"
"...you know I can't help but notice you didn't say no there"
"Are you actually gonna help me take care of it?"
".....I might feed it sometimes, only for y/n mind you, and only if you help me train to scratch my enemies"
