Chennai Super Kings (CSK) have successfully lifted the IPL 2018. Here are five facts about CSK

Chennai Super Kings gets their name from the city they play Chennai, Super a common word across southern state and Kings is from their owning business Corammendal King.

CSK is the only team to retain the same jersey colour through these 8 years. They play in a dash of yellow and blue stripes

Kepler Wessles is the first coach of CSK. However he was only for the inaugural season of 2008. From then on Stephen Fleming has taken over

From 2008 till 2018, Suresh Raina is the only regular player to play all matches for CSK. This year when he picked a minor injury, he had to miss his first match after an astonishing 158 matches.

Dhoni is the captain for all seasons. However in 2010, when Dhoni picked an injury Suresh Raina captained the team for 2 matches. Again in 2012 Champions league T20, with CSK out of the reckoning, Suresh Raina led a match against Yorkshire. Dhoni played under Raina's captaincy and even bowled two overs.
