It's wild to me how much broken kits change as they grow. These guys had such tiny specks of color as newborns, and now they have pretty large patches of color. I knew that would happen, but not to the extent that it did. Those spots really expanded.
These are my first brokens. I love this gene. I'm glad a have a couple broken bucks to test out now.

One of Sol's kits has a big patch of fur on her back that is currently "rex-furred," and it's just so odd. Weird molt pattern, considering no one else in the litter has that. I thought she felt oddly soft a couple weeks ago. Can mosaicism affect fur type as well? I guess we'll see what happens with her. So far, it seems like the "rex patch" is growing, so I do think it's just something to do with them replacing baby coats.
Their dad is a rex cross, no doubts there. They all ended up with shorter fur like him, but he himself is not rexed.
