1 – What is the Portuguese holiday, April 25th, about?

In Portugal April 25th is the date of the Carnation Revolution, with which the military overthrew the regime it was under. (I actually studied this for an exam last year so the only thing I had to google was the english name for the revolution, my history professor would be proud of me xD also, FYI, April 25th is a national holiday in Italy as well, Liberation Day)
