I finished this last month and it is the fifth in the Crystal Mudra series. ‘The Right To Bear’ questions the validity of the Constitution’s Second Amendment as it exists today. Why do humans think we have a right to kill one another? It is outrageous that firearms are protected and politicized, and their value is held higher than a human’s sense of safety and their life. In the wake of the riot and attack on the US Capital last week, maybe lawmakers will begin to reevaluate the dangers that weapons pose to our safety and everyday freedom. And consider all the kids that have to do lock down drills at school and the anxiety this creates.
