B, C, F and J for Serena and Kinstal?
Aaaayyyeee! Thank you for asking this!
B) What inspired you to create them?
Well, for Serena, it was just that I needed someone to run through the Sith Warrior storyline for the first time and well she kinda came to be. But in terms of inspiration for her character, I based her loosely off of Sophie Deveraux from Leverage.
For Kinstal, it was a bit simpler because I really just wanted to have a male smuggler that wasn’t human (I don’t have a lot of aliens. I should probably fix that.) so he kinda came to be from that.
C) Did you have trouble figuring out where they fit in their own story?
Yeah, I had a tiny bit of trouble but I figured it all out in the end!
F) What do you feel when you think of your OC (pride, excitement, frustration, etc)?
With Serena, I feel pride because she’s come so far as a character. She’s gone through so much change and I applaud her for that.
For Kinstal, there is definitely some second hand embarrassment because I just think about all the failed, cheesy flirting that he has done over the years that had definitely given him some interesting experiences to tell about.
J) Did you have to manipulate or exclude canon factors to allow them to create their character?
Yes I did, just a tiny bit, but it was worth it.
