Road had gone to a social gathering with a few of her classmates, they enjoyed some tea and ate sweets. She couldn’t even recall what they were talking about, by this point she would just go into autopilot. There was a set routine when conversing with nobles and while the subject matter may change the answers were still the same. When the time finally came to leave Road was glad for the fresh air as she headed back home.
On the way back, she came across a familiar face and a chance to better her day. “So I get a question instead of a hello, didn’t your parents teach you anything? At least you didn’t speak with food in your mouth.” She took a seat on the bench next to Lenalee as if they were pals who were catching up. “I’m not going to do anything yet. Besides you know running away doesn’t get you out of range from my ability so relax. We’re just going to have a nice simple conversation.~”

“ Don’t hold back. ” A simple sparring was never simple for Kanda. He knew how strong the girl could be and he wanted a good work out-- to be given a run for his money. Feet spread out under him for a better center of gravity, grip tightening on his sword as he looked at Lenalee. Breath was calm and calculated, allowing him to fully focus on the girl’s movements, ready for her first move.

//okay well...i still have a lot of drafts /sigh. But I'm exhausted. I think this rp blog will be good for my writing, though. It's going to force me to start writing more quickly--to focus, to hone in, to gather my thoughts and pump ideas out more efficiently. I've always been really slow bc I get distracted or, just as often, intimidated by what I want to write. Maybe it'll be good practice to just get it out.
Anyway. /faints from exhaustion. I'm not getting enough sleep before a very long day but oh well. It is what it is.

Lavi thumbed through the folder that Komui had given him, it was thick with missing persons files and information on the 'haunted house' in France that he was meant to investigate. Well, he wouldn't exactly be alone, he was to be joined by Lenalee who was meeting him at the train station he was about to pull into. There was a hiss and a jerk as the train rolled to a stop within a second and with more enthusiasm than he'd admit to he hurried towards the entrance. He glanced over the crowd of people coming into the train before he caught sight of a familiar face.
He grinned and held his hand out when she came closer, his single green eye meeting lovely violet ones. "Welcome aboard Miss Lee~ Ready for another fun adventure with little 'ol me?" He asked jovially as he took her soft hands and brought her into the train.
