The BERK-MORGAN family and the WILKES family have been feuding over power in Crystal City for decades, but with a semi understanding, things have been mostly tame between the two families, both doing their own business, but what happens when a new family comes to shake things up a bit in Crystal City?
The Jansen family has been watching from the sidelines for far too long, getting themselves mixed up here and there without a real trace, they’ve decided now is the time to make themselves known.
The Wilkes have a incoming shipment at the docks tonight, a shipment full of things everyone wants to get their hands on, and an informent has told Elias Morgan and his crew what’s going on, and they show up at the docks that night too.
But so do the Jansens, and maybe, just maybe, the informent let the Morgans know just to get all the families here at one time.
When things begin to wrong though, the backup plan is put into action, a city wide blackout, people stuck in elevators, in hospitals, and the emergency crews are sent out to each location, and with a sudden downpour of rain, it’s the perfect distraction from the shoot out at the docks.

THE INJURED PARTIES ARE:
Olivia Ortiz is at the docks, with the Wilkes family and when the lights go out she’s caught from behind from one of the families soldiers and gets stabbed in the back.
Elias Morgan is at the docks and get’s shot in the thigh, it’s a flesh wound.
Eva Giatti is outside of St. Anthonys church when the storm hits and the lights go out, in the chaos she gets knocked over and hits her head, potentially causing a longterm head injury. She gets carried into the church by random citizens as they wait for an ambulance, but with everything tied up things are a little slow.
Ayla Belen, a member of the Morgan family, gets shot in the stomach at the docks, her condition is touch and go.
Chhaya Bhatt is at the Mall when the lights go out, when panic insues, she gets caught in the stampede of people, in the process of trying to stop the fall, she breaks her arm.
Emmanuel, a member of the Jansen family, gets killed at the docks.
Celine Kim is at the bank when the lights go out, and someone who knows her brothers history, knows her family, takes the opportunity to attack, security intvervines but not before she’s stabbed in the side.
Theo Wilkes was at the docks when the lights went out, and when a shot a fired it went straight for her side grazing and leaving a bleeding flesh wound, blood rushing to the surface of her designer shirt.
With multiple guns being fired, people are bound to be shot. Lucas Jansen gets shot in the shoulder, just missing his heart.

So, as you all know, I did open up for a few of admins for our little group, as I need a couple of helping hands to keep things running, and after reading over some great apps, I finally made a decision, so I would like to introduce you all to our new admins!

Yesterday we posted this survey for everyone to take about our current activity limits, and the majority seemed to think an extended activity limit, as well as monthly interests check ins would best suit them. We can’t help but agree.
However, the first thing we’re going to do before we impliment a new activity limit is our first interest check.
Here’s how that works:
If you’re still interested, still have the time, still want to make the time for this roleplay, great, let us know!
And on the opposite side, if you’re not, or don’t, that’s perfectly understandable, we just ask that you let us know by Monday, December 14th.
We understand that right now is such a crazy time for everybody, from loosing jobs to being stuck at home, working too much, too little or not at all, to school to family things to mental health, we get it and we just want this to be a fun, safe hobby for you to participate in. If right now doesn’t feel right, we understand and won’t fault you. If you want to stay, great, we already love having you and we’re excited to still have you around!
If you do not want to stay, we ask that you message the main via instant messages by Monday, December 14th by midnight.
If you do plan on staying, we ask that you do the same.

as a team, we decided to open up temporary character applications.
HERE’S WHAT THAT MEANS FOR YOU:
We have a big plot drop coming soon that we’re all very excited for, but with that, comes some temporary characters. What’s a temporary character, you ask? A character you’re willing to sacrafice to the plot. Be it that they’re injured, or worse. This is a crime rp after all.
HOW IT WORKS:
You can find the app here, we will be taking FIVE temp characters, both from inside, and outside the rp, and app acceptance is up to admin descretion, as always. We will close the app when we get enough.
there will be conditions:
of the five apps, at least 2 need to be for the unofficial Jansen Family, the rest can either be for the Berk-Morgan or the Wilkes.
They can part of the crime families, or they can be civilians, this will all be in the bio.
who gets injured/worse is up to admin descretion as well, and we will be contacting the applicants!
we have the right to turn away any apps that we do not see fitting with the plot drop, but we are also accepting regular apps!

Hey friends! So it’s the middle of the week, and I think that’s the perfect time for a couple of announcements.
Last week we asked you all to take a survey about activity limits, and a majority stated that they would fair better with a longer activity limit, and we can’t help but agree!
So, for our first announcement!
ACTIVITY
Our activity limit will be raised to 2 weeks. What this means is that in those two weeks you must post at least 3 posts on each character in those two weeks to meet activity. We enourgage you especially to be replying to open starters and posting your own (after following the two starter rule first, of course) in those two weeks, as this makes everyone old and new feel welcomed.
we are also upping our hiatus return date to 48 hours rather than the original 24.
We will also be doing monthly interest checks, much like we did last week! We will set a date for you to send in your interests confirmation, and give you a few days to send it in before posting an unfollow.
This next announcement is in line with activity!
Please make sure you’re reaching out to plot with everyone, replying to open starters, posting your own and replying to more than one or two people.
EVENT
We still currently have our Festival Of Lights event happening, with it currently being Hanukkah week at the festival. Hanukkah weeks ends on the 18th, and don’t forget, there will be a CHARITY GALA on the 19th and more info will be posted about all of that soon!
we highly encourage you to use this event for plotting and open starters, reach out to people for plots for this, or in general!!!
We are following up on the survey that was taken earlier this week! The event will take place next week and it is crime related.
